Yes they build new ones so you don't have to keep polluting the air with the old ones. Besides they need to keep those factories as they have the ........... to keep wages high so we all can keep buying new or newer things. This is what I was thinking. Try hitting the rev limiter in first and second a couple of times, this will help tell you where 6,000 Rpm. It is possible you are bogging it and not aware. Brad

My 86 and 99 had a whine, the 99 worse than the 86. Turn up the volume or change the gear if it annoys you. So far the 08 is quiet. Brad
