Very nice but can you get a 5.5" speaker to fit. Brad

I seen the F counter once on my 99 and never noticed the light, ever come on. But just before I sold it I had a wire break on the sending unit and fuel gage gave me an error code. I replaced the sending unit and sold the bike so i do not know if that fixed the light. My 08 comes on same time as F counter with 2 bars left. Brad

Sad news for sure. Not sure I ever met him. All the best to his family. Brad -
Less buyers as well, and we are just coming into the colder season. Use the 900 bucks to discount the price and price it to sell, or you may sit on it for the winter. Depending on where it is you may have to move it. Good luck and all the best. Brad

Lynn glad to hear all is well, and hopefully your mother in feeling better. Not sure if you were up in the Owen Sound area or not or if your heading back but if you do stop in for a coffee, just give me a call. Brad

You may not, but look at Walmart, Canadian Tire, Parts Source, Napa and Carquest. I have seen it in all of these stores lately. Brad -

Odometer is out about 2% which is not as bad as the Speedo. Brad

Depends on how the market grows. Yamaha may try to push the sales with the Stratoliners, to compete with the Victory Cross road Pretty sure I won't purchase a V-Twin Brad

I drove a whole tank at 55-60 mpg on back roads to see what mileage I get, and Naugh-T was pissed. I got 51 mpg (42 US mpg) Seems to take a little long to burn a tank of fuel that way, doubt I will see that again. Depending on the group I am in Brad

I saw a Venture in Brantford (about 4 years ago) that had a 1,200 charge for the 5yr extended warranty. This was on the Price tag that hung from the handlebars Brad

My thoughts as well. Now don't forget the pics of her when she sees the car for the first time. Brad

Rear speaker problems
BradT replied to Maritimer's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I am starting to think the stock speakers are as good as any of the other ones on the market. Not fussy on the polk, too high no bass, the pioneer seem to have nicer sound but certain songs seem to have too much bass and sound like crap. Kenwoods were better than the other two, but a new set of stock speakers sound as good or better than the others, I have had. Just my Brad -
Your happy with your decision that is enough for us. My wife Rhonda has Victory Vegas, very impressive bikes. I like accessories just plug and play so real simple to add things. Anyway enjoy and I am sure you will love it. Brad

Leaving Tomorrow & leaking Antifreeze
BradT replied to craigatcsi's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
For the price of the plugs I agree on above. These plugs are used to drain all the antifreeze from the engine. I would change the antifreeze on a four year bike, not hard to do, just remember to check it after a short ride. Enjoy your trip ! Brad- 7 replies
