If you however the mouse over the Flag it shows the abbreviasion. Note it is still a Abbreviation and us Canadians are not sure which state it is. Spelling it out would not hurt for us Canadians that are Geographically challenged. PS The Canadian flags all have the province spelled out for you all. Just a slight advantage. Brad

Like this idea. Is this part only used on a Venture ? Doubt they need the part or could do without out it for a few weeks. Good luck and Enjoy the trip Brad

Did that a few times on purpose with the Stebel horn when the new Round abouts came to Kitchener. I think it taught a few how to drive in a round abouts. Brad

All the best to you all. You asked but I would leave as early as possible and go on your planned route. You can't go Wrong with the roads you selected. We are in Tennessee and it is always too hot and the roads are incredible. Brad

I do not believe they are checking the same thing. I think they were checking for play in the bearing which is required for a safety inspection but we are refering to the tightness of the steering head brg. Surprisingly slightly too tight or too loose will cause some grief. Not hard to check or fix actually quite easy. I have owned both as well. About 15,000 miles on a 86 and I can say it felt lighter and I could turn it with ease on the street. After about 75,000 miles on a two second gens they are heavier and it matters none to me which one is faster as I can out run a lot of 1st gens as they must be afraid of tickets as they back off earlier than I. Personaly the second gen is more comfortable, a little harder to ride (only requires a little more attention which is not a bad thing), has a better sound system, and has more room to stretch out. And that Plastic on a first gen is just annoying. Too each there own. Both good machines and when taken care of will give you many thousands of enjoyment and that is all that matters. Brad

Swifty I believe Squid was at my house that year when Al Bates said the same thing ? Brad

Could be straight cut gears and this is likely coming from the right side of the engine, and only happens at certain speeds and gear. If this is it is normal just need to hit the right speed and gear, and you can hear it. Vibration maybe to low a gear and or a carb tune needed. Brad

I too was very happy to hear that she did not go down. She rides very well even in the rain but you just never know. Rhonda told me where she was and there really was no where else to go, and again very happy to hear nothing serious happened. We are hoping to spend some nice time together next week as we are both on a needed vacation, the only question is where to go ? I guess it really does not matter, just happy we are able to spend it together, Love you Rhonda and very glad you made it home safe. Brad
