Couldn't agree more, I really liked the Cherohalla skyway, plus some of the other roads around there, over the dragon BRad

Irving does not come this far West, so can not comment. I never run premium as I never found it to do anything. My opinion it is to be used with higher compression ratios, or if you have pinging. If your up this way give us a shout (phone is in my profile). Where you from in Nova Scotia, spent many days down that way working. I used to go to Truro, Bedford, Dartmouth often but slowed down lately. Still go to Mirimichi NB a few times a year. BRad

I know what you mean, and at least you admit it, but then there is Carl. BRad

Well then it must have been a good idea, someone came up with it. Actually never knew what those little things meant. Thanks BRad

Now that is dedication to the site. My back goes out once in a while but i have more problems in the neck. C4-C5 is herniated and it can sure act up some days. Goes through the right shoulder right down to the finger tips. Somedays can not even pick up a coffee cup. I pcik up the beer with my left hand when this happens. BRad

Just curious if there was a way to highlight a thread which I may have posted in. Is it possible to add something like a star or something beside a thread which I previously made a post in. There are so many new threads each day, I was thinking this would remind us of a post we may have made in a particular thread. Just an idea. Not sure if it is possible ? BRad

Mine is US bike and I fill with liters as well. Your mileage is similar to mine, with everyday riding. It equals 45 mpg Cdn and 37.5 US Mpg. Cooler weather will affect your gas mileage. Brad

Roadliner 1900 S to a Venture... Should I take the plunge?
BradT replied to jgreenfi's topic in Watering Hole
And it has a limiter so you do not have to worry about over reving. Third gear is fun as when it hits the limit you will be cruising approx 90 mph. Brad -
Congrats Matt and all the best in the coming years. Gary bet you sure are proud. Wow, education, engaged, and what is next Grandkids (better you than me cause I can not afford any) Brad

I have calculated my speedo error to be 7% off. THe odometer I believe to be about 2% off. Here is my gas mileage on a trip we took, riding two up and pulling a trailor. I do not drive for gas mileage but know I can get 50 mpg canadian (45 mpg US) if i keep it under 60 mph. Gas mileage is still better than the truck and more enjoyable Brad

Take lots of Pics along with the little baggy thing. You may want to put it together as soon as possible as well unless your memory is better than mine. Brad- 7 replies

Looks Good Lou, Not quite as shiny as the 06 but with a few goodies and I am sure you will get it there. Enjoy your ride, and most likely it will be next year before we see it. Brad

I got just over 10,000 miles this season (since May) and have had the bike for three seasons and just over 30,000 since I bought it. We have seasons here, not a full year. With the weather forcast, I doubt I will get another tank or two this year. BRad

Greg I never saw my light come on neither (on my 99), and the counter only once or twice. I hit reserve often. I personally never worried about it. Just fill and go. Maybe it is a problem with the 99;s LOL BRad

Need First Gen. Advice
BradT replied to abnormalwon's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I had a 86 Standard model, maybe these were made in Canada only as they were different colour (not listed in the History section). It was nice two tone greyish. I have seen about five of these in total, so it was a standard and standard colour for Canada only BRad -
Their service is exceptional and I have had little to no problems with mine. In Canada we have large license plates for trailers and the bracket broke no big deal, had it welded and it is fine. I tow mine behind the bike and my truck, and I definetly have towed it more than 10,000 miles (between the two vehicles). Definetly recommend the Piggy backer if your looking for a economical trailer. BRad
