Same reply as @Woody about 4 letter word! As for ride only been doing leisure ride also as with temperature being very hot and then turning to showers to thunder storms just like last night. Went to help son to replace door panel on customized car he was loaned but it ended up he had no time. So I went for ride but after a half hour it started with big drops on windshield to BIGGER drops then light rain till complete down pore about 4 miles from home. Didn't get soaked but made it home and wiped down bike and trailer.. Looking forward to next good ride on the 5th or 12th of August when we meet up in Paris Ontario Canada again for our Ontario meet put on by @XV1100SE! Hoping for bigger turnout than last time! We did meet a potential future member (2013 Royal Star) (ride name Pig Speed) tho so was worth trip

Only 3 of us but like @XV1100SEDon said we had a good visit with Mike (Think I'm right)with his 2013. He heard of the get together from another site Don also goes to(me also) and rode 2 1/2 hrs to get to meet us. Missed out on ice-cream tho! Next time!! Pitched him on joining and hope he does!!Told him it is worth it!! Missed not seeing others understandably because of day but hopefully we will have more people show up on the 5th.

Heading out for Paris tomorrow for 11am as it looks like it might be good weather until later in the day ( hopefully like today) unless it is pouring in morning! Any other updates?

Have you checked with dealer or web site for Progressive(if they are still available)? I have an 87 with springs in it but still haven't decided what I'm doing with it. Had bumping accident back in 08 ,bought back with intention of putting back on road when I retired.. Was NOT written off ! Put up for sale a few years ago to get back what I bought it back for($600) might be convinced to change mind as can't really afford to rebuild now I think! As stated in Ontario get together by @XV1100SE would be a great way to get to know some of us! Or maybe some Saturday would be better!

I agree with @saddlebums comments as my first Venture was a 1987 I bought in 2002 and joined a few years after Don't regret one bit as there are very knowledgeable people with lots of advice!!!

I agree also as I just picked up 4litr jug of oil with filter and drain plug O-ring and cost me $75Can($60US.)

Did similar mod but only one side hang on unit. Was going to do this for long time but when visiting @Marcarl and @XV1100SE to oversee them changing Don's clutch slave unit I finally decided to buy the side tool box which fit into my tow behind trailer.

Oh sorry was pulling my utility trailer behind.

Woody I have a 2012 Venture.

Just did a 300klm(round trip) ride today to pick up a rear tire on rim and a rear fender with turn signals from a guy that had a Hannigan trike conversion done to his 2006 and wanted to get these out of his garage. Great day for a ride!

Don just bought a rear tire on rim and rear fender from a guy from Facebook Marketplace and suggested for him to look up our web site. He has a converted trike 2006(Hannigan) His name is Dave Stone from Simcoe Ontario
