@N3FOLgas tank leak was solved also! took plastic welder I have and heated and smoothed out seam and also added some plastic(tank is plastic) to make sure the seam is sealed! Also it looked like gas was backing out the tube at bottom fitting of tank and was a little cocked and clamp wouldn't seal so I put another new gas line with a 1"piece of a bigger fuel line then put on clamp and that seems to have sealed it! Routing fuel line so there is no sideways tension on fitting also. Getting a lot of ridding going for parts etc lately. Thanks for all the advice!

No number on bulb! Looks like same bulb in picture but picture doesn't show other side to see if another pin. Original has 3 equal distance around and new bulb has 2 pins in same position as original (missing 1 pin)Haven't changed it yet as ridding around and working on tractor but took it out of box right now to replace but it looks like only 1 filament inside and I think it should have 2 because it is a marker lite and flasher. Will check tomorrow! Number on box is the same as Partzilla tho!

@N3FOLNephew is moving out to Alberta Canada and told me I could have it as i his kids broke it and didn't want to take it with him(not mechanically inclined) so I drove 2 1/2 hrs North with my one son and put it and a smaller grass cutter machine onto my truck and snowmobile trailer. some small parts were missing(carb was missing the vacuum fuel pump which I got a rebuild kit off Amazon for $30)tires should last a winter ! Grass deck was seized. Have been on a couple web sites for this tractor but anyone that has parts for sale live around Virginia or states around there!(I'm in Canada around Brantford where @Marcarllives. Talked to him yesterday and he said he still owns the same one but his son and grand son tore it apart to rebuild years ago! Still keeping an eye out looking for parts and information! Being retired kind of hinders money to spend! Hope I can get it fixed as compared to my other tractors( lawn cutters forced to plow!) this the size and weight I really need to plow (10-13 lane ways and sidewalks I do in winter) @bpate4homeI am also a student of U-tube University! And also get information from a small engine mechanic but is retiring this fall but I will try and keep in touch if I need help(said he might)

Stopped off at dealer today to see if bulb came in as they were supposed to call me when it came in BUT as usual they didn't! They found it in THEIR parts and brought it out to me. Standard bulb to them(but can only get it thru them) guess they figured they had a spare until I showed up. Took a look at it before he got it back into box and noticed it only had 2 pins on it(in same position as mine looked, will see tomorrow) that's when he called it a standard bulb,I told him mine had 3 pins but he just told me they are only for position and should work, guess I will have to take apart and see! Better - cost me $17can.

Temp today was 9c(48f) today when I went out for a 175klm(108mi) ride today. Stopped off to visit with @Marcarl while I was out but only stayed for about 20min as he had to go get some parts to fix his furnace in the shop. Same place I just came from(spent $80)Princess Auto! Left around 9am and got home around 7pm ! Went back to trying to get my new to me 1970's Sears SS16hp lawn tractor started. Fired up the other day then stopped. Turned key and got silence ,no clicking of solenoid or anything! Took all wire connections of and cleaned them, remounted solenoid after cleaning and testing but ran out of time and will finish trying tomorrow!

@cimmer no problem, should have had wife hold bulb so I could have taken a better picture. Still waiting for dealer to call! Yes the rubber around bulb is a pain! took me a bit to remove, now it is a real pain to get lined up to get bulb back in,I don't think the old bulb is quite in right but still works on signal. Will worry about it when I get new bulb then will make sure it goes in rite! Hard to tell when pins are lined up!

Like the pictures!!

Congrats! Nice bike!

Congrats on the new vehicle! Hope no prob;ems!

@cimmer sorry pictures didn't show properly as I have tried Canadian Tire but they are not standard 1157 bulbs! 1157 bulb only have 2 pins on opposite sides while Yamaha bulb has 3 pins around with 1 slightly off to lock bulb in base of holder. Tried other jobers and same, told me it's a dealer part!

Tried bulb dealer sold me(2 ears) but when I finally got old bulb out it wasn't the same (told him it probably has 3 ears that hold it in)like I told him. Went back to return it and order the right one and girl says "that's a different price!" So I asked how much? $17can with tax!! Should be in next week!

Was out for ride last night and when pulling up to store front windows noticed left turn/marker light wasn't working. Turn signal did work so when I got home I tried to get bulb out but not enough strength in fingers to push up and turn bulb to get out! Going to get son to get it out for me. Went to dealer and there were 2 part numbers ( which I think it was for either clear or orange bulb)they had clear Yamaha bulb at $8.50 +taxcan but no orange. They had an aftermarket orange they said would work so I bought it for $4can+tax. Will change when he gets here! Probably don't need to change as passing lights would be enough to show width of bike but I like to have things working!

Went for a couple 200klm rides recently! one was Friday the 13th that I took to Port Dover Ontario Canada which they estimated over 75,000 people and bikes!(not sure how many but it sure looked about right) The other was this past Friday that I went to a Motor cycle parts and accessory store then another bike recycle and finally Princes Auto where I spent around $150 on stuff I needed for the coming winter!

Thanks for the responses! Didn't think it would ever happen!!

Yes hope everyone stays safe!!

I also have noticed less posts! I try to get out and ride as much as I can! Phantom keeps worrying when I do because of all the bike riders crashing and dyeing around the area we live!. Not many details on most, cagers mostly(probably turning in front of or sideswiping as not paying attention) She does know I drive as best as I can and also doesn't trust others( I also don't trust others so ALWAYS keeping alert to what is going around me!!!!)
