Used to drive a buddy's 67. He was such a tightwad he would borrow my VW to go to the next state over to visit his mother and leave me the Vet. Could have been because I kept it tuned right too.

That is one of my worse memories. I don't mind doing it but when I was about 14 I killed cleaned and put in freezer 155 chickens in one day!! What a mess!! Only good thing was these were Free Range Chickens. Dad gave me the 22 and warned me not to mess any of them up by not getting head shot. Big #3 tub of boiling water and to work I went. Hate the smell of wet chicken feathers!!

Prayers for the fallen and their families. My workout buddy and his pardner were killed while making a arrest a couple yrs ago. He was a major reason I got in the best shape I was ever in my life and I think a major reason I can't seem to get started in the gym again. WE had discussed the type of arrest that got him killed only a few days before it happened. You don't get 2nd chances dealing with scum like this. Our Boys in Blue are really seeing some rough times. Just plain crazy.

That's a good one for her. How we treat people goes a long ways. I grew up on a farm. Pick up a hoe and hoe corn, taters, maters or beans from about 7 in the morning til 4 in the evening. Not many kids that would or could do that today. Be we ate like kings!! Mom could cook!! I still like simple food the best and never met a burger I didn't like. And Mickey Ds Fries!!!
