    I figured that out when they told me $60 a hour and then I started to tell them how to do it. Took it home and did it myself!!!

    If you mounted speakers in the trunk of a 1st Gen, how could you keep water out? You would have to drill holes to let sound come out. Just thinking. Still have speaker to fix on parts bike.

    With all this welding talk how hard would it be to reinforce a 83 frame to prevent it breaking? Could it be done without stripping it down and turning it over as randya did? Randya what do you think? Squid how hard is it weld in tight places like that?

    Could you repeat that in English???LOL. Just a dumb old hillbilly I'd stick a 4-Barrel on there and get it some more air and see what happened!!!! Maybe a turbo to make it take the mix.

    Whats right with the HD would be a lot shorter list.LOL! The Bat-Wings do offer better hand protection. Yamaha could take a tip there.

    Maybe a Holly 650 on top of it? Fuel pump wouldn't keep up would it? And there goes the MPG. Need a air intake like the V-Max scoop. Sure makes you think don't it?

    Haven't saw the electric ones. That would be interesting. How would they hook up and would they show weak spots in electrical system? Like TCI box?

    Yes and you can position the bar and speakers any way you want. Voyager speakers sound as if they may work in this.

    What are Voyager speakers like? I need a new set for new (to me) ride.

    Use a flat piece of aluminum bar about 3/16" thick by 1 1/4 " wide 12 to 16" long enough to clear trunk. Drill hole in the end bolt it in with trunk mounting frame. Mount a small box speaker something like a computer speaker on other end of bar. Adjust to where you want it. I have this set-up but it is hard to describe. Just wire them in with front and run wires under seat.

    J C Whitney has mecury tubes that work almost as well. About a two week delivery time when I got mine. Didn't know about Carb-Tune or I would have gotten it. Can't handle mecury tubes the way you can Carb-Tune.

    Took a regular 9 ft. household extension cord, cut of plugs put clamps on and works great for bike and I did charge a car batery with it once. Hooked it up and ran about 15 min and car started. Guess it depends on how dead battery is.

    Yeah Cliff, They changed our uniforms when they found out gas melted them to you. Of course no one would do that to us right?

    Be very careful when riding curves in wooded areas. Leaves are as slick as Ice!!!!
