  1. It is Great stuff. Fuel system cleaner. Ranks right up there with Sea-foam costs a little more.
  2. Could be done if you can weld that good. Getting under it enough would be a problem.
  3. If you put it on centerstand "most" of the time it won't leak. On sidestand it leaks a little. Not enough to worry about. Check it and if below center of sight glass you could add a little. If you can see it in glass I wouldn't worry about it.
  4. How many miles? Known problems? Extras? Ask and we will give answers. You might even understand some of them. These are Great bikes.
  5. Hey Denden you been out playing again?? Another thing is the side covers on the 83s fasten on different than the rest. All kinds of plastic on E-Bay right now.
  6. I think age would shrink those things Jeff without it running. They leak on the Blue Beast ll. But don't know history of it.
  7. Dirty fuse holder can do that.
  8. Not sure on that one Jack may have something there I would check holes good first.
  9. Litttle difference in them. I was thinking change was 86 or maybe the late 85s. The late 85s have a good 2nd gear I think have the number written down somewhere when change was made.2nd gear is a ways down the road yet if it does go and that engine would be well worth learning the 2nd gear fix on. I know another that needs done.
  10. The circle on the back of the oil bottle should not have any lettering in the bottom half of the circle. It should be empty. If there is lettering there it is telling you it has friction modifiers in the oil.
  11. Sea- Foam and a set of plugs would probally kept you from sending it back to the Stealer. Do good Sea-Foam soak before you change plugs. Looks pretty good a lot of promise.
  12. We're waiting Randy. Tell us you found some simple little thing.
  13. PICS????
  14. I think I'll hang on to my 1st Gen for a while. Take a while to gather all the parts up anyway.
  15. Frames might scare him off!!
  16. Mine would not rattle at idle Denden, but only when reved as the RPMs were climbing. Don't remember if sitting certain way would do it but only noticed it when sitting (It was on Blue Beast) and I tightened the rear header shield and it quit.Don't know why it was loose. They are bad at wearing out mounting holes too. Then the chamber started to go. I thought timing chain when I heard mine.Hope it is a simple fix Randy.
  17. You got it bout right. Cages are vehicles that you are encaged in or trapped in such as a car.
  18. Hope it is not the tranny Randy. Heat shield on rear headers??
  19. And put a little Di-Electric grease on the things you clean.
  20. That looks like it could be a good one.
  21. I would wait to see where its comingv from but you can't hurt anything. Good Luck and Enjoy!!! Let us know.
