    Don't you just hate those guys that won't let you sleep?? Glad you are doing OK. Could have been a lot worse Scoot can be fixed. There is always next year... Mine will be road worthy in the spring.

    Just see how it runs when you go back to the stock pipes. It shouldn't make a lot of difference. There are some members here with a lot more knowledge about this than I have but just put them on and see what happens.

    I think a lot of us might be a little guilty in this one. Bad day at work or whatever and we come on here and let it get into our comments a little. And it goes both ways. When not feeling up to normal some comments we tend to get upset about when usually we would laugh at. I have typed things, looked at them and not posted them after thinking a little. And might be guilty of posting a few that I shouldn't have. My job gives me a pretty thick skin but I also have a quick reply at times before I put brain in gear. But most of it we are just having fun and most of us know that and we keep explaining it to new people. That is a good one Squid. He just keeps proving he ain't just another pretty face he has a brain in there!!!

    A 1800cc V-4 with fuel Injection, and reverse in a 1984 Venture Frame and plastic!!!! Or just a ride on my 83 would do.

    Sorry but I'll have to disagree with that one. If there are no more 1st Gens available I would have to have a 2nd Gen. Still got that big V-4 heart. And how could they call me Yammer on a Gold Wing???

    My Avon didn't look anywhere near that Good at 5,700 miles. The cords were showing in several places...

    I dump a full can in less than 1/4 tank. When it is down to the last bar or lower. Then leave it sit overnight and run it few miles to gas station next day. It will run a little rough but when you fill back up you can see what it does.

    That 1200 engine and just a frame and front end. Might put some brakes on it....

    Sitting outside even covered is not good for these things. The chrome parts will go very quick. It does need to be cleaned up Sherry.

    We do need to remember that. Just because forcast calls for warm temps we are willing to take the cold ride in the mornings to have that ride home. But don't forget to watch for ICE spots in the mornings. I have rode to work in the evening when working nights, and had to scrape ice off the windshield the next morning.

    Thats two statements on this thread that 2nd Gens don't like hills (no power) or Twisties(can't handle them) And that is WHY 1ST GENS RULE !!!

    We have a few that you can reach out in front of you and wipe off your tailight as you go around them! Or you have to dim your lights to keep from blinding yourself!!
