    Have them in my Saab. They are nice and I have them in a older Saab I had for parts. Take covers off and make them fit Bike?? Makes me think....

    Want to reply with my heart instead of my head in this one. Sure there are accidents. Stuff happens!! But the one that got me has history of being High or Drunk all the time. He now thinks it is funnny that this didn't cost him anything. It sure cost me!! Could something have been done by the Deputy? Of course it could have. Insurance company still dragging its feet. Get off my High Horse or Soap Box???? NOT THIS TIME!!!! I'll take my steel leg and beat him over the head!!!

    Set on E-Bay now I think. Take them off and coat them with Liquid Tape use a little heat to bake it dry and good to go.

    or not wanting to waste time getting from 10 mph to 75 mph... or who knows what Could be it. With the "blue Beast" I never got out of the 30's MPG when riding by myself. Riding with others I could break 40. Could be because I like listening to that V-4 in the lower gears when it is winding up? My claim to seeing 120 MPH in 3rd gear might fit in there somewhere. Although I've been told it is not possible I saw the thing hit 120 MPH in 3rd Gear just about Redline. That's my story and I'm sticking TO IT!! Faster than I needed to be going anyway. When I ride with others I tend to be a little more "sedate" in manner. The only good ride I got to take on the "Parts Bike" I matched Skid in the 40's MPG. Just babbling this morning but it bugs me that Skid stays in the 40's and I can't seem to. And I'm looking for that V-Max rear for whichever one I get on the road.

    Good info. I'm swapping carbs also and will check that. Swapped them on the "Blue Beast" and she ran a LOT better. Guess I just got lucky with that because I never checked it.

    The Crack-Head that hit me was not charged by the Deputy that investigated the accident. I will never understand this. He looked right at me saw the lights but pulled into the road and got me never letting off the gas or touching the brake. Said he saw lights but didn't see me. It still wakes me up at night. He is going to wake up one of these nights and I'm going to be sitting on his chest. See if he thinks it is funny it didn't cost him anything then!!!

    I have a Inline 4 and a V-4. That V-4 just sounds so much better. In a bike about 1/2 the weight??? WOW!!

    Pretty sure they are the same Carl. The ones from Skid's 86 are the same as the 83's.
