  7. Look ugly naked don't they?? Yes you have to be carefull how you handle it. Thae ABS or PVC glue does work pretty good as Carl said. Mostly it is taking your time and getting in your mind what you want to do with it. There are several things that work good. ABS glue, the Devcron Plastic Welder from Wally World works pretty good. Some use JB Weld. I'm sure you will get several opinions on here. Good luck with it.
  8. Looks like leg is going to retire me this year. Not ready for it!!

  11. 15 Yrs as a Babysitter. Correctional Officer most of it in Lockup of Maxium Security State Prison. Sgt. Yammer
  12. You can boil DOT 3 if you run The Dragon a little hard. Ask Skid. 4 might be the best if you have a 1st Gen. 2nd Gen owners could probally use 3 without any problems.
  13. Ejection Seat?? Lona may not like that one!!
  14. Good explanation. So I'm going to tap into the sync port and it shouldn't have any effect on anything else? This one wants to run a little warm so it should help that also?
  15. Should not make much difference which side of throttle plate it was on vacum pull would not be there until throttle plate was opened. Is my thinking right on this? If I hook it to sync port will it affect anything?
  16. Hey Lew what road you going up on??
  17. That is what I was hoping. I should be able to hook it sync port. Only place it could make difference is at idle I think. With throtle closed not much flow going thru there anyway. Flow does not start till you open throttle.
  18. 3/8 Drive rachet, thin walled 18mm socket and I use a spring U-joint. No problems at all but there are easier plugs to change.
  19. That's what I was saying Rocket. The set I got does Not have this tube. They must be for later than 83. Is there any way to use them? Can the vacum be hooked somewhere else on a 83? Is it the Boost Sensor that needs 0 vacum at idle? Am I back to trying the 83 set?
  20. My Super-Brace has plugs to cover the holes. The slots sound like a good idea. He could add those or they could be cut with a Dremal or something.
  21. Looks like I have a set of 84 or later carbs and trying to put them on aq 83. Can this be done?? 83 needs to read 0 vacum at idle so it needs to hook to carb and not to intake. Would there be enough pull if I tapped into Air Box?? Going to have to look at this a little more.
  22. Where is Denden! He should be able to answer this one.
  23. Got you Rocket!!!
  24. Sorry Dan got a little mixed up there thought Rocket had posted something usefull. If that is the Boost sensor all I have to do is make sure it has vacum? Not sure if any more differences in the carbs I'll have to look at them. Guy posted them as 83 but guess not.
  25. Is it the Boost sensor Rocket? As long as I give it vacum it should be OK? Could I tee it into The port where you Sync them???
