  1. I wouldn't mind seeing that. Had a book floating around here somewhere.
  2. Test Ride as soon as I get enought plastic hung on her to go. Busted up pretty good. He had it all wired on. Shouldn't take long now.
  3. Filled with Carb Cleaner (again) and leave sit for work week. See what happens.

  5. Now that old lady is going to be complaining about those Bikers!!!
  6. WEST VIRGINIA?? I've heard of that place......
  7. Got carbs back on "Shady Lady" and had to use starting fluid to get her started. Would only run at idle with choke all the way on! Sat and scratched head for a hour or so, swapped out fuel pump and she runs!! Am I that stupid?? I had changed it before with one off a running bike. More I thought about it it just didn't seem to be getting fuel. No air box or anything on it but it runs!! At last a step in the right direction. Get it buttoned back up and enough plastic on her to take for trial. Want to see if 2nd gear is there. Get her on road and Color-Tune, Carb-Tune, (Mecury Sticks for me) Plastic glue and see what I've got. Problem is back to work and they called me today whining about being short and would I come in and help out?? NO!!! How long til Ashville???? "BROWN SUGAR" Don't need to worry. (YET)
  8. I've used the Sea-Foam ran it for few miles and changed it. Lot of crud!! I only ran it about 10 miles.
  9. I have Mufflers, shock, swing arm about anything else back there off of "Parts Bike" but she purrs like a kitten. Or ROARS LIKE A LION!! Neighbors get to enjoy her quite often!!! REALLY SOUNDS GREAT!! I'd do anything for them......
  10. As I've beem saying "GREAT STUFF" I just didn't know it was that great!!
  11. Good luck with it. A lot of cracks in these things are easy fixes.
  12. Jeff advised me to take them loose at the slider also. I've been doing it at the carbs. Always got to do things the hard way! Still learning...
  13. My Wife's "things to get list" has a New venture right on top of it!! and I'm avoiding her!!!
  14. Had these off couple times and didn't go back this hard. Fought the cables about 4 hrs this time. Thought it was supposed to get easier each time? That inside one just didn't want to go and my fingers just don't want to fit in there!!
  15. Had that idea for my 750. Haven't got to it yet. Really looks good!!
  16. How much Plastex to cover that thing 1/8 inch thick? And to work in cracks good to create good bond.
  17. Put me on there. Can I ride a 750 and wear a Venture shirt:think: XL I think.
  18. Got it!! Need to find Bigger Hammer!!!
  19. Ouch!! I got some thoughts. Need to look at something to reinforce it like road sign, and cut piece to fit and pour fiberglass over it to bond with trunk floor?? Wouldn't do that again.
  20. Got the carbs back on my bike and have a little line-up question. pushing down on 1 and 4 they sit solid. Pushing on 2 and three I can rock them almost 1/4 inch. Never noticed this before. Am I just looking for more problems on this thing or is this acceptable? Can't see anything in the way. These things are a bear for me hooking up cables. Really don't want to pull them again.
  21. ENJOY!! Good looking scoot!!
  22. I have rebuilt some smaller pieces with ABS glue. The fiberglass patches I've seen might be the way to go if you could layer it on the inside good.
  23. Yep, I was expecting a little more. But that bill sure is on time!!
  24. CONGRATS!! Ain't no stopping them now..
