    Thats the way I went. Painted them with Harbor Freight's Liquid Tape. Looked good didn't leak.

    I would get killed if I buy another one but found add last night in local trading rag that says 1300 Venture Royal new brakes, starter, carbs rebuilt, all the goodies 3200 miles Black Cherry 3000 bucks. Don't say what year and I hung up phone before they answered when I happened to think it was 2 in the morning.

    My "New to me" 85 has this. Need to put up on stand and get front wheel off ground to check it I think. Not sure from there if nothing shows.

    As much as I hate to say it I think it is stronger than the "Blue Beast" was. Hummm....

    You hit this one. My 85 with 20k had a few problems and all of them from lack of use I think. 2000 miles since I got it I'm going to cure that!!!

    Carb-Tune syncs carbs. Color-Tune adjusts fuel mixture.

    Very Low mileage on "Blue Beast" with 404. And everything else!! Avons got 5600 on rear and handled the best!!
