  1. http://www.mightyputty.com They have a great deal going on now. 6 tubes for about 20 bucks. I got it haven't used it yet but sounds good. Or go to wally mart and get Devcron Plastic Weld. It is cheap and great stuff. If crack is not bad and can be put back togather ABS Pipe glue is the way to go. Just get glue into crack good move pieces against each other to create bond and hold til sets a little.
  2. Have been looking for something to soak carbs in while cleaning off the bike. This could be answer. In a plastic tub. Soak others while breaking one down would help a lot.
  3. looking good. Only 5 more and you could catch me. Going to quit now?
  4. Where is Virginia??
  5. You have the characteristics of a master street rider. On the way to work, your love for riding sometimes leads you to take the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. You live for the perfect road, and plan vacations around riding. You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as comfortably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Your bike is the FJR1300. Can I borrow it someday? This is one I would take a long look at if I were going to buy a new bike. But I have a 1st Gen or two to go thru yet!! But I stay as far away from the "Streets " as I can. WV backroads are my thing.
  6. I get to ride to work and back. 38 miles of WV twisties. Sometimes it's hard to turn in at the gate. And Skid puts a few miles on that Blue & Gold cruiser each year. Froggie is on the road every day. Not too bad. BUT WE NEED TO RIDE!!!
  7. I'm working on getting some weekend days off. Tell those FNG's they have to work the weekends and they get "SICK" Bunch of babies!!
  8. Filed that # away. Hope they got some 85 stuff hid away somewhere.
  9. That was a "RIDE" Remember the Dodge Hemi? Busted two of them, with the "Beast" We need to do it again. "Ugly" is not the "Blue Beast" but getting close. I still have a couple things to do to her. And with 2nd gear. Work still getting in the way. Maybe....
  10. but I wasn't going to say it.
  11. If your bike runs great it probally wouldn't make a noticable difference but will keep your fuel system going like it should. And there is a lot more dirty fuel out there than there used to be in my opinion. If your system is dirty you can't find a better cleaner. KiteSqiid's Post is very interesting. Would save us some money. I would add about a gallon to my first tank every spring and make sure it had some for winter? But is he saying it doesn't do the drying and we still would need to add something for moisture?
  12. 86 as far back as it goes?? Couldn't find 85.
  13. Hey!! I knew him before he became Famous!!!
  14. You notice they only got one pic??? Good One Though. THANKS.
  15. And some people have a BUNCH more time than I have!!!
  16. Crack is about 4 inches long and it flexes enough someway to blow out everything I tried. Guess pull and weld is next.
  17. Giving them away are you?? Warden might go for that one!!
  18. My collector is split across the bottom. Invitation to pull it remove baffles and weld back up but I was trying to make it last til winter. Don't sound that bad but loud.
  19. Change?? I wouldn't know...
  20. Now that ain't right. I got to got to bed and wonder all day. Probally won't sleep, then I'll fall asleep tonight and the Convicts will get me!! Have you no mercy JT???
  21. Probally everyone knows this but I've never heard it on here. When you pack your trailer make sure you have 60 per cent of the weight in front of the axle. A little more don't hurt.Too much weight to the rear will cause weave.
  22. Hot enough that I can't find anything to patch a split in bottom of the collector. Blows everything right out of there. How hot is a exhaust?? I think Pematex has a Hi-Temp one that goes about 600 degrees. Blew it out too.
  23. And how fast is fast enough???
