I go to "Dollar Tree" and get "Power House" wax for a buck a can and use it on anything. Carry a can ion the bags with Micro soft towels. But then I worry more about riding when I'm out than I do cleaning. Don't know who that guy was trying to wipe down that "Ugly" bike every time it stopped in Ashville this summer?

Hang in there and listen to your heart. GOOD LUCK!

Sorry to hear that Rick. Good Officers in our line getting hard to find. We lost a Director of Programs Last week in a accident. He had moved up from uniform and was doing Great. Had wreck on his way to go Deer hunting.

Bought my first set of Chaps today. Might be some cold weather riding in the future. "UGLY" might not be as pretty as some but she is starting to impress me. Blue..... what was the name of that other bike??

I think I would try to hang on to that tire. Be interesting to see what they try to blame on you.

Mine looked about the same when I changed them in Ashville. And caliper was stuck. -

leather & helmet saved my skin-Kevlar better?
Yammer Dan replied to dharnie's topic in Safety and Education
When I went down I had very little road rash this time. In fact really none. Face gotbeat up a little inside helmet and had busted nose. Couple of scratches on thigh. except for crushed leg, ribs, shoulder and hip I wasn't too bad. I did get busted a lot but won't catch me without my gear. Good Jacket,Fullfaced Helmet, Gloves and boots. Saved me a lot of skin I think. And if you saw my helmet you would know why I say FullFaced is the only way to go. I do use the Flip-up front. And I bought myself my first set of Chaps Today!! Haven't rode with them yet but spring is a long ways away. Don't think I can wait. -
NORMAL??? NORMAL??? Tried that once. Tasteless. Give me Rosted or fried or baked. Don't want none of that NORMAL Stuff!! Couldn't resist Greg...

Always late. I think I those tools somewhere. Sockets may only go to 32. I'll have to go look now to see what I got. Last one I had to do like that was my old 76 F100. Remember Kingpins?? All kinds of fun!! Bearing are easy compared to them. Messed up threads on I-Beam on that one really had fun getting that grease cap back on. Like Gene I was a little younger then. I beat on that thing for a while. Now I got a Saab 900SE Turbo out there with clutch out. Wonder what dealer would want to fix that? It went completely all at once so Probally end up doping it myself or having it towed 80 miles to Saab dealer. It never ends.
