  1. What is a direct swap in the rear gears for a 1st Gen. I think some of them we didn't have to do anything to? some of them are a little different?? 85 V-max to 85 Royale??
  2. For now thye pipes are locked up in the cellar along with most of the plastic I was lucky enough to have off of it when it blew over!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  3. I was thinking, this might be good. A new chicken recipe.... That is GOOD!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
  4. What Eck said. Still a lot of left over winter junk on the road too.
  5. Sorry to hear this Randy. Prayers sent for his family.
  6. People like this kept me from enjoying the Human Race for a lot of years. The bad ones are still out there but I've learned where to look for others.
  7. Sync them? Sounds like it could help.
  8. Frogman is very good when it comes to this stuff. I get lost trying to follow his directions. Electricity and I don't get along. I have my extra TCI on "Ugly" now. First time I washed her when I got her with just water hose I couldn't get her to start again. Still got to get in there and take old one out.
  9. Didn't we have someone that rebuilds them??
  10. I know the feeling!!!
  11. Progress???
  12. The Warden thought that was funny?
  13. How many greases are there out there with a Moly content. Is there something cheaper for those that get in there a little more often and regrease things? I've been known to put too much grease in there. They say just a little with the Moly and I don't think I would feel comfrontable with that.As I said I tend to overgrease.
  14. Are there other Moly grease products out there or is this only way to go?
  15. Oh NO LATE AGAIN!!! Just kidding Bob I don't need it. Have afew spares here and there. Was just wondering. I have spares how should I keep something like that? Just on shelf and clean when I needed? Would the seals in these things last better if empty and dry? Should I take time now to break them down clean them? Got a lot of parts I need to take better care of. Garage is coming. Warden wanting spare room back.
  16. Now that could nibble a toe at about the knee!!!
  17. Like to enter her in the Derby??
  18. A Blue 84!! Wish I was up that way. How many miles? The valves don't need much upkeep but sync is good idea. And Sea-Foam it. In the spring I use a whole can to less than 1/3 tank of gas. Put it in run it to get it in carbs good then leave it sit overnight or for a day or two then ride hard til you use up what is left.
  19. Yep BLUE with a lot of miles out in the sun is the fastest of the 1st Gens. The others come in 2nd as in 2nd Gen!!!
  20. A good running 1st Gen can get up to 50 mpg and still stay ahead of the 2nd Gens. The World famous "Blue Beast" had 98,700 on her when a S-10 took her out. Was still taking Dodge Hemis and Hardleys. They take a little tinkering now and then but what lady don't?
  21. Not one day in the garage with the stove going this year. No wonder this winter sucked!!
  22. Just turn your mirrow around til it is facing to the front. So you can keep the 1st GENS in sight!!!
  23. Maybe you had hair on your head???
