    It did run pretty good til it sat down on the back tire.Lot of garage time in that one. Its not done yet. Might get to turn it Blue...

    I charged it a while and "Ugly" kicked right over. SWEET MUSIC. Now to get busy patching that plastic. I knew I couldn't ride a complete bike for long without something being busted on it!!

    Here is the kicker!! "Ugly and the "Parts Bike" went "Ugly" came up dead with radio catching most of the acid. Put "Parts Bike" back on its feet and it fired right up. Lil'Red had dead batt. already but didn't suffer much. "Ugly" was on top and suffered the most. Going to try recharging. Probally waste of time but it didn't loose a lot of acid went down on left side vent is on right. I got a unicycle:confused24: Last time I tried it it only cost me two days work:whistling: 70+ and the only bike that runs has frame problems!!

    When my bikes went over it killed the battery on "UGLY" What are the chances of recharging it after it was on its side for a few days???

    RIDE IT!! I have Jardines on mine. Ain't taking them off for Nobody! And there are those around that remember what the "Blue Beast" sounded like!!

    Patience GrassHopper. I'm afraid the Faded Blue is only a memory. But what memories. 115 mph in 3rd gear. Busting Dodge Hemies. Scaping both sides on the "Dragon" Hardley Educator I learnt a lot from that old horse. I don't think I will ever get the Nerve back to ride like that again. But then all I have to do is stay ahead of the 2nd Gens!!

    Got it back on stand finally. Not bad enough to head for the Dark side. Busted windshield, turn signal lens,faring is busted pretty badaround mirrow and around radio. Not as bad as I first thought. Those floorboards helped a lot. And the crash bars. I had some of my good black plastic on the "Parts Bike" and it didn't come out too well. I guess its back to woprk on it when I get the time. Car, roof and trees come first. Been a real mess here last couple weeks. everything at once. I'm learning to tell them NO at work. Its time someone else did it.

    Not sure yet. Got bike back on its stand finally and it id dead. Haven't had chance to check it out.

    60's here today and my Buick crapped a axle so bikes are still waiting for me. And of course everything on that axle went rough. Just getting it out and getting ready to put new in was rough. Now waiting on new one son is bringing.

    I got its twin Steve. Could use a windshield on it and a good cleaning. "Ugly" hasthe faring busted up pretty good, windsheild busted into about a dozen pieces, turn signal lens busted,radio surround busted. Not sure what else yet. I just got a new roll of Duct Tape. You will see me around this year!!!

    Wasn't taken that way Jeff. My luck last few years just plain sucks!! Mine is a 82 XJ750 Maxium Steve. Only thing to break down at the Skid-In last year!! I'll get them on the road they ought to know by now I ain't gonna give up. And that Drop-Dead Beautiful 1st Gen?? I have a 83 with a new frame, a new tranny for it and a whole back room full of Bling!! when I retire........

    Son stopped by with help while I was at work. Picked up bikes and placed them back on center stands. Two of my Ventures had been sitting in the drive under covers when wind picked them up and stacked them on top of my 750 Maxium. Both of the Ventures had the rear wheel off at the time. Anyway he sat them up to surprise Dad. Before I got home "Ugly" took a nose dive off center stand for some reason into "Parts Bike" Yeah I got a surprise when I got home. Something keeps telling me the Warden says. :crying:
