    I have a exhaust chamber I might get on there before Maint Day. But it sounds good both ways!! If Don has a welder with the WeldMan there?? How hard to put cover over bottom??

    Got her out a little this evening. Finished blowing bottom out of exhaust chamber!! Make as much noise as my neighbor's Hardley. But she is running and going down the road without any problems. Little shake if you turn loose of the bars at 50 mph. Probally that Brickstone on the front. Patched that exhaust chamber and those Jardines really sounded sweet for about 15 miles. Then POW!!! Not ment for me to own a pretty (no scratches) or a quiet bike. But 2nd gear will crank out 70 mph pretty quick. I'll shut up now. Still pretty pumped. Only got in about 40 miles. Maybe a night ride??

    I always mix in a little gas to help with restarting. They don't like to crank on pure Sea-Foam. But I have done it pure Sea=Foam. Of course the longer you leave it sit the better but I'm usually in a hurry when I do it.

    I don't want to position the rack in the wrong place as to rule out the spoiler in the future. I would put it on top of the trunk... Just having one of those days. As mentioned check everything twice or three times before you drill.

    Remember you started this!! I use Castrol 20/50 Dino oil. According to seal it has No Friction Modifiers. I have used this for years in all my bikes and have never had a oil related problem. "Blue Beast" had a diet of it over 60k that i know of and was going stronger than the average 2nd gen when she went down with 98,756 miles!!!

    Good advice here. Major reason I don't own a new bike. That and 1st Gen are just awesome!!! One of the reasons we call then Stealers!! I hope Mama Yama straightens them out. Now about that 6' 4" Redhead.....

    Mix up mixture of about 1/3 gas and 2/3s Sea-Foam. Shut off gas. I just use something to pinch mine off petcock is stubborn. Use short piece of hose and little funnel. Disconnect fuel line from intake on fuel pump. Attach hose and funnel. Styart bike and run adding mixture untill you are sure carbs are full. Shut off and leave sit at least overnight.

    If it is leaking from sitting it could be just needle valves not seating and Sea-Foam could cure.

    I wish I could do that. First time I met Frogman I was having wiring problem with "Blue Beast" He took over and scared me to death!! Started throwing wires everywhere and cutting anything that got in the way!!! Before I got over my shock to stop him Bike was fixed!!!! Wiring just plain scares me.
