New "Hemi's" don't want nothinig to do with a 1st Gen or a Saab. busted a couple with both. Just love the look on their face!! " WHAT?? I spent all this Money and Can't outrun that "OLD" thing??"

Wasn't a Saab 900 Turbo!!! I don't really know. The Saab is really strong on low end but so is the Venture!! The old Saabs I had 85 & 86 were really strong on low end. I really don't know which was the fastest. they were both 1st Gens. The newer Saabs are not as strong as the older ones. Kind of like the............

Makes me think. Sell them all? Makes me think but it will never happen. My retirement project is a "New" 83 frame all the chrome I need to dress it. I have all that waiting. Got to get them inside. Thinking of finding V-Max engine for it. V-Max rear. Don't really want Boost system just stronger heads and cams. Build it and get too old to ride it???

One of these years..... Looks like work is out of the way now so I'm running out of excuses!!

As you probally know I'm a 1st gen rider. But my wife planted the seed of a "new" one to retire with. Wouldn't have to work on it just ride it. And everyone knows if you ride bike 20+ yrs old you are going to spend a lot of time keeping them up. So like you I spend a lot of time thinking about it. But that is probally it just thinking. This last accident may insure that I keep what I have and be lucky to be able to hang on to them. But the "Itch" is there. Get rid of all my 1st Gens and I would have a very nice down payment on a 2ng Gen? or on a .......... I got tooo much time to think. If I were you it would probally be the Kaw. But I'm not you. It will probally be 1st Gen for me.

NOTHING?? Must be the pain pills....

It can really shake you sometimes, but if thats all it does thank the "Man" it could be a lot worse real easy. I've had a lot of scares and some bad ones but they keep things interesting. Ride Safe!!

YAMMER DAN-.....who's never claimed to be a pooter whiz and does not trust a keyboard that eats cookie crumbs. Now that is the way you steal it. If I run out of food late at night I can shake keyboard over a bowl add a lttle milk and have a fine meal!!! Little crunchy but flavorfull!!

Lost me there Bum. I have heard of it just not enough experience with them to know that much about it. You mean the trailer is not lining up the way it should with rear tire? Would be a constant out of line pull on the tread? It would make sense for this to damage tire if it was continious pull on it. It does seem we are having more than our fair share of bad reports on tires lately??? I have never gotten mileage others have claimed from tires but I have that thing with my right wrist.

Sitting and waiting...... Maybe he can get a Job waiting on 2nd Gens.. Easier to catch!!

Need advice on potential repair

85 k on a cop bike? I'd bet on clutch. I don't think you have to worry about it blowing. -
She wants the project bikes to go too. I can't do that. I would have nothing to do but polish that 2nd Gen and try to come up with ways to make it as fast as a 1st GEN!!!
