    Bolt them back on the bike and kick them back in place. I've done it several times. Won't weaken them enough to cause concern.

    That sounds good. You had a problem with that switch before?? I have a sidestand switch out now that only has 22k on it thinking it just needs cleaned. Checking it with meter would be good instead of putting in back in to check.

    Taking Warden Camping tis morning. With my luck I'll break down on the way back with nobody to go for help!! "Ugly" is up on centerstand waiting to recieve new exhaust chamber. I scored a really nice one on E-Bay. Get the list of other things done to her before she comes back down and maybe I'll get some riding therapy. I forgot Doc says I can't ride.. His offfice is 65 miles away!!!!My throat and stomach are still sore from heaving so much but I'm ready to start on her. Hoping foot holds up for this. Then maybe I can take a ride with Skid to _ _ _ _ _ !! Not going to say it afraid my Black Cloud has learned to read Forum. I have been starting this for a month and foot acts up every time I get ready to start.

    They usually go don't they Randy? The old "Blue Beast" never left me sitting in close to 60k. Had 98,700 when she went down. The closest was at Skid's(at least I wouldn't have been stuck out on the road) Starter made some noises that just shouldn't be coming from there. But she kicked over and I went home and put a E-Bay starter on her and when I lost her she was purring like a Lion!! I'll stop making noise. I'm like Carl leg keeping me from doing anything but sitting and then I eat at Rally's.Vogel getting in danger if things don't get better... Did I say That??

    On a mild food diet for now. It wasn't any good. And a big greasy Burger is my favorite meal. I'll stick to Buger King or Hardey's.Stomach is still sore. I've never heaved that much. I think Rally's is off the list.

    What Jack said!! I had a link for brushes but can't find it. Got a set from them about 2005. Watch E-Bay if you want a complete starter.I think there is one on there now.

    Warden and I were out taking care of some things last night. Around 4:00 PM we stopped at Rally's mainly because we had not eaten there. I didn't like the looks of the place when we walked in but we stayed. I had Burford Combo and the Warden had Mushroom and Swiss. Were not inpressed by them but ate them. Came home and about 2:30 in the morning my eyes popped open and I headed for the bathroom. One of those trips sitting down with trash can between knees. Things went downhill fast. Bloated up til I looked like I was 9 months and ready to pop. Suffered the rest of the night wondering if I was going to die!! Finally got loaded up and headed for Emergency Room. Wasn't driving son was driving. Got about 10 miles from hospital and started noticing change. We got to emergency room and turned around and came home. WE DIDN'T STOP AT RALL'YS!!! My stomach is still sore. Having a small bowl of chicken noodle and a grilled cheese tonight. Think I might Live!! My Black Cloud doing some more OT!!

    I would try what Randy just said. Open the top of the air box and see how far they are out. Adjust them by sight this way to get them as close as you can and go from there. Where are you in Ohio?

    Sounds like you are on the right track. I wish I could understant electrics like Frog Man does. I get lost when I blow a bulb!! I need a class in how to use a Multi-Meter. I can tinker with the rest of it but if it looks electrical I'm lost.

    Maybe a way to put some Jack Stands under there when you get it up?? Just in Case!!!

    :sign yeah that: What Jack said. But one difference. To check mine I take them in my cellar. Good dark room and use a flashlight behind them to look for holes in them. Right around the rim is where they will start.

    And that just about covers it!! I told Warden it was good chance for me to check out Tarus I bought but he was on his way home before I got hold of him. Only could have took tools anyway.. I need a trailer!

    Bike died no fire all cylinders. Hairman I think he said (phone and my ears togather) lived close, loaded him up on trailer and was headed home.
