    Low Maint on the hair Mini. I still have my pony tail hanging on the wall. You will always have a few people like that that have no consideration for others. Hard to deal with. I won't tell you how I did it. Don't want to get Jeff in trouble and he thinks too much like I do.

    On the plastic "Mothers" -"Back to Black" get it at wally World or most parts stores. Take a sponge paint brush and use it to paint black plastic. Don't be afraid to put it on there. A few times with this and it will make a major difference in the looks of your plastic. It will shine and it is Black.

    "Ugly' gets about 40 when riding twisties around here and my right hand stays busy. I'm not going to complain much but might visit Earl's garage sometime for a lesson in carb needles. I think I understand how to do it but it sounds like a good excuse for a ride.

    Sounds like you are starting out OK. Rick Butler can help you with the seat. He is on here somewhere sure someone will chime in with that info. They do like RPM"s and youv'e already figured out the Hardley thing. There are a few things that can be done to the brakes. Steel Braided lines being the most common I think. Supposed to be a great improvement. I hold off on this one because of a fear of being able to lock them up Tooo quick. That big V-4 has been around for a while and will keep you smiling. Anyway WELCOME!! Of course you know the 1st Gens are faster:innocent: We have a lot of fun here and all the info you will ever need for that Scoot. We like pics.

    I don't feel the need to put more gas in but mine works fine when I fill up but when I go about 50 miles it starts flashing on reserve. I run for about 50 miles like that and it comes back and works like it should. Usually comes back on showing 2 or 3 bars. I've been putting off pulling and cleaning afraid of bending something in there. With all the cleaner I've ran thru it probally wouldn't help to clean.

    85's popping up everywhere. How do you put up with that "Ugly" Brown?? I also have wiring problems. I think they come from the factory.

    I would almost bet pulling the TCI and drying it out will cure it. NEVER use power washer on these things. Did the same thing to my 85 first day I had it. You can pull the TCI and open it up put in oven for about a hr at 150 Clean the connections and put it back on top of the Air box instead of where it is.

    Fighting those Ghosts will take forever. I was just getting to where I could ride and relax after the first accident when that nut crossed lanes and hit me headon. Had nothing to do with the bike but it got me more than the bike wreck did and brought all the spooks back trippled. I love riding too much to quit. I have taken rides that I had to pull over and collect my nerves before I could go on. It will take time. Don't push it. It will come. At times now I feel as I used to. And it is GREAT!!

    Thunder Storms in our forcast for the next week. It was supposed to rain yesterday but I rode about 75 miles. Got sprinkled on a few times.
