    And it ain't even Winter yet!!! Sorry didn't mean to use that word!! We are not picking on all Riders when we do this just the ones like the group of Hardley riders in my area that won't even speak to you but will talk crap about Rice Burners in you presence to each other. But lay it out for them and tell them to "Bring It" and there are No Takers. I have riden Harley's, Nortons, Kaws, Motto Guzzies. Bridgestones, Hondas and a few others I can't remember but never caught that attitude. Its not about WHAT you ride!!

    My 85 will pull the front wheel off the ground in 3rd but won't do it in 4th . Is it slipping?? :rotfl:

    I have a set of Mecury sticks but am probally going to end up with a Carb-Tune because of the way it can be handled compared to my sticks. Have had my sticks for years. They work as good as Carb-Tune??

    I saw that but have no 86's or newer. Could find something for the batch without the bags maybe.

    I take one of the 9 ft Extenision cords you can get at Dollar Store for a buck chop off the plug ends and put some electrical clips on it and I have a set of Motorcycle jumpers. Easy to carry in bag won't carry enough juice to be a danger to bike.

    Three white wires on the left side of the bike?? Strator Connection. Take them apart and clean good and dielectric grease them. It is best to cut this connection out and soder this connection. More help to come!!

    From my days of pulling trailers with Telephone poles on them if the tongue did not sit firmly on the ground it would whip all over the road. With a large load if I could load it by hand without using the boom on the truck it would still whip. The larger the load the more of a portion of it had to be on the tongue. Put a 75 ft pole back there not loaded right you could clear the Interstate of traffic!!!

    Riding a 1st Gen I've changed out a few that look like that!! And one of then was a Dunlop 404!! Might be in the same stretch of air that I am at any time.

    That reminds me of the fellow officer that worked with me a few years back. Young kid and he found out real quick that the Warden takes such good care that I need a large lunch box to hold all the goodies I carried. Feeding him was getting bad enough to put him on my tax return until I brought fried chicken one night. No idea how that pepper spray got on that chicken. Or maybe I do. I sprayed it three times and let it soak into the piece I left for him!! I still hear about that one!!!

    I still don't know what you are saying but I think it is Good stuff!!! We are getting some newer members in here that might teach us "Old Dogs" a thing or two!! I was always lost when it came to anything electrical anyway. If it don't work toss it and find another. Thats what they are doing but a whole new approach to it!! Now if I could just understand it!!

    Slow as it is must be a 2nd Gen!!! Couldn't leave it alone Ron (Grasshopper) Been a while since I was on one of those. Visited a farm when I was about 15 and old Smart-A** had a young colt. I had a girl with me and wanted to impress so I asked if I could ride him. Old Man said "Go Ahead" I slipped off fence onto that thing and landed about 30 ft away. Forgot to tell me no one had ever been on that thing!!!
