    Do a Sea-Foam soak and hope it will get something you missed? Run it in very strong 3/4 Sea-Foam 1/4 gas. Put it in there at fuel pump. I don't use straight sea-Foam because it is hard to start on it. Let it soak for a couple days after you make sure you have it in there good.

    Sounds like something got in there on something and is just burnning off. Running it again is good Idea to check and see if it does it again. You didn't see any flames did you??? This could be a sure sign of something just not quite as it should be and will make you find out how fast you can still move. I wouldn't know anything about this and Skid still has his garage so I ain't admitting nothing!!!

    Sounds right to me but I have done it wrong. Just make sure you put them back the same way they came out.

    That can happen. On the 83-85's with the individule springs I have had luck with adding a washer to each spring. Tightens them up a little and No Slip!! But this a tempory cure. New springs will last a lot longer. And replacing the 1/2 plate in there with a full one helps but I can't remember how. Hey Squid Where are you???
