    He bought it. Now I'm supposed to teach him to ride??? It runs great. Only has 9k on it w/ bags, forward controls,boards front &rear, cobra slip=ons ( too noisey) K&N and chrome cover. Oil filter kit to use canister filter w/ chrome cover, fork bag and a few other goodies. Looks like a good one to start on.

    Brother-in-Law getting close. Going to look at a 02 V-Star 1100 this afternoon. He has already checked it out wants my approval?? Says there is a low speed knock in it. Goes away as soon as you give any gas?? Anything to look for here? Where you at Lew???

    I understood you Charlie!! I think I would try repacking the Bubs before I gave up on them. I thought if you rode a 2nd gen you had to be smoking, drinking or or or never mind!!

    Just look at them. Or you can pull wires off one at a time and see if there is any change. You will notice difference if they are firing good. No difference if not firing.

    Now it is a 02 Classic 1100 w 9100 miles for 4300 bucks. Bags, boards, K&N big Bore, crash bars. Can't keep track of the boy! He has the fever!!!
