    That about says it all. In several ways!!! I'll just keep my 1st Gen, stay happy and won't have to worry about it. And won't have those big payments every month!!

    I'll have to agree with Don. Now that everyone is over that shock you still couldn't catch a 1st Gen!!! The last Hardley I had was a 56 Pan. Shook itself apart. Ride a hr then tighten bolts for a hr. But it was a beautiful ride. Rigid frame, raked 45 degrees, extended 16 inches, Springer Front, two gal tank moulded to frame, 14 inch ape hangers, Candy Apple Red with Gold Metalflake. Oh the memories......

    Seems to be doing good. You know how much luck I am having keeping her down!!! Got the bike done all but putting all that rear plastic on. I'll sneak out and get it one piece at a time as Johnny said. My 85 would only take 5 min or less!!

    Might be worth 500 to someone that wanted to bring it back. How many miles and do the accesories work? Radio,CB,Air Ride, Intercom??

    Or every 26 yrs as some of them go. Take good care of your engine, change oil as you should and you will probally never find valves out of spec enough to worry about. And taking good care of your engine does not mean treating it like a baby.

    Just got her back from the Docs. She went in and started telling him she would like to have one of those walking boots. She now has a bright shiney Hot Pink Cast!!! Not a happy Lady. No weight on it at all for 6 weeks!!!! Anybody got a spare room???? Going to be rough around here!!!
