    Started home Sun morning and "Brown Sugar" showed me why she let a couple of those other bikes get close. Started lagging when I let off gas and soon just wouldn't go. Rear/Front brake locked up. Opened rear bleeder and got no fluid. Opened front bleeder and got no fluid. Master cylinder? Brake released while we were there and I rode it home with only front brake. If it released it seems to me calipers are ruled out?? Can you imagine what that thing would do if the Brakes weren't holding it back???

    OK OK I'll admit he caught me napping. At 115 with traffic coming up and only a front brake a 2nd Gen got me...... No excuses..... When you ride a 2nd Gen you got to take what you can get. NEXT TIME!!

    I can see you haven't attended the 101 Class on "1st Gen Education" Several classes were held in Ashville this week. I'm sure someone down that way can help you out.

    I've taken quite a few of them apart. Just always watched what I did and put them back same. Frogman brought his down for me to help him and I got them mixed up!!! No clutch at all! Embarrassing!! Call to the Squid got me out of that one!!!

    WHAT SQUEEZE SAID!!! I know which end of the wrench goes on the bolt but got lost in this thing. Keep coming back to check it though and get more confused. Had a member show up at Ashville with a 1st gen on a trailer!!!! TCI so screwed up it wouldn't even run. Someone had rebuilt it for him. Swapped it out with my working 83 and should have seen his face when I hit that button. Surprised me too. That thing Purrs!!! My 86 educated a few atr Ashville but I've been swapping TCI's on her trying to find the best one. Tach started dropping to zero with the orginal one about the same time I was fighting the bad gas. May retry orginal. I'm lost again!!!
