  1. Sorry to hear about your friend Charlie.
  2. Is that a 1st Gen???
  3. HEY!! Thats my excuse!! Then there was the new rose bush with the Coffee can around it. Started across yard on riding mower and there goes Coffee Can flying.... Had a time getting out of that one.
  4. Yeah as you get Older you tend to slow down a little...
  5. Used to Redneck making noise. Nothing unusual. Good to see him back though. Things getting a little dull...
  6. At the 1st Vogel I tried and tried to patch the one on the "Blue Beast" Sure got everybody's attention when I fired her up!!! One on E-Bay now but they don't come cheap.
  7. Fits right on. No problems.
  8.:think::think:??? Both my riders got 2nd. It usually brings the front wheel off the pavement as I leave the 2nd Gens behind. Its all over by the time I get to 3rd.
  9. But we got to mow it more often!!!
  10. My E-3's came from them. Good to deal with.
  11. I had that choice and kept mine. Hope it does good with whatever he ends up with. If I had it to do over I think I would have made the same decision. Glad he doesn't have other injuries to deal with at same time. That don't make it fun. Hope they Hang her. I'll provide a rope!!!
  12. My hearing is going. Don't have to listen til things start to fall apart!!!:rotfl: But then 1st Gens don't have too many strange noises after you get passed the 2nd Gens!!
  13. You know I thought that way Bro but that FJR makes me think. Just can't afford one. I got Obamaized. May have to part with a few 1st Gens.
  14. I'm with Jack on this one. Speed Bleeders are Great. Jack do you think you could swap them from one bike to others? At 7 bucks each it adds up when you got a few bikes to work on.
  15. We don't want it. You don't want it. What we going to do with it??
  16. I have a new set of Avons for "Ugly" and a new set of Dunlops for "Brown Sugar". I love the way Avons feel on the road but get a lot better wear out of the Dunlops. Too many bikes to keep track of. Headaches like this one I can handle.
  17. You are moving North and Winter is coming??? But I see you are from Florida. You don't know what winter is do you??? Good Luck with the new place. Watch out there are some bad influences down there....
  18. They told me it was tire pressure when I had threads hanging out after 5600 miles on the "Blue Beast"
  19. Every Accident is different and you will not react in same way alll the time. ( I ought to be expert on this.) In 1976 I totaled a new Ford pick-up with a 650 Yamaha. I was going up the road at about 55-60 mph when he turned across my lane right if front of me and no time to go anywhere. I planted that bike between the cab and bed hard enougfh to bend frame on truck and bust cab loose from frame. I can remember getting my right foot on the seat as it happened. I went over the truck and slid down the road for a good bit but being young and full of it I jumped to my feet and it took several at the scene to pull me off him. ( Probally get charged for that now) I never had time to think about doing this I just reacted or I would have hit the cab of that truck head first. I got a quite a few good licks in before they pulled me off him and cop that showed up didn't say a word about in spite of his complaining.
  20. As Gene said keep a little Sea-Foam or whatever in there ever so often. If you shut it down for winter make sure you put a stabilizer in it. Sta-Built is a good one. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Startron at WallyWorld in the boat section.
  21. Doc kept me all night to tell me I'm not sleeping!!
  22. He will be in our prayers.
  23. I don't believe that.
  24. I use the Harbor Freight one. Seems to work OK and is on sale now for 8 bucks. But I'm thinking it only has the clips.
  25. Be CAREFULL what cleaners you do use. Some of them are too harsh for the Carbs and can damage them. Sea-Foam wont do this or Marvel Mystery Oil, Yamaha's Ring Free and several others. Berry Man's Chem Tech seems to be OK but I wouldn't use a lot of it. Wally World has Sea-Foam and a lot of parts stores. Been hearing good things about Startron in the boat section at WallyWorld.
