    WOW!! A updated 1st Gen!!! I'm going job hunting.....can't afford that thing on retirement check.

    OK I need a car. Tarus is rusting from bottom up. In another year it will be Ugly. Runs great but body is junk. I have found two cars. Retirement check won't go for new one. What I found is; 99 Buick Century only 23k for $6000. Most of the goodies on this one and Buicks are hard to beat for dependabilty. Not sure what size V-6 in this one but they do around 25 MPG from what I know about them. Was going to go for this one because of milage then this caught my eye. 99 Chrysler Concord LXI with 45K. Loaded. Has more goodies than the Buick and I think looks better Warden don't agree. Both have great looking bodies. I don't know much about Chysler dependabilty these days (ran them in 60's when they were Muscle Cars) What kind of MPG could I expect with this one and will it last for a while. I think both of these are real low miles for the year and could last me for a while. The Tarus is loaded and runs great. Just looking at the body has me fed up with it and it has developed a shimmy at higher speeds lately. It is a 02. What is it worth as trade-in.

    Without this going south I'm going to continue to use Castrol. But do you think any of the Major Oil Companies would have acted any different than BP did? I don't.

    I came around turn and there were three of them in the road. Went between them and one hit my leg hard enough to bruise it. I had to stop til the bike quit shaking!!

    I've used the Castrol 20/50 since about 1970. Never had a oil related problem that I know of.

    I think this is 1st sign of them starting downhill. Hard to tell how long it will groan before it gives up. Might be able to talk them into replacing it. I mean the shock!! Now Darlene........

    Advantage of having two 1st Gens on the road. One is always ready other is close and back-ups not that far behind!! But that garage would be nice. Warden would have to hunt me....

    It has melted just ment it kept me from doing much outside during winter. With a garage I know where I would spend my days.

    Hard to do with snow piled on top of it. Hoping its inside and heated next winter.

    Figured out I'm going to have to pull some plastic. Got new plugs & wires but tach don't want to work right and speedometer was complaining a little when cold last year. May as well get in there and do it all. But she still purrs...I might have to go get "Brown Sugar" to ride this spring.
