    You can cut the ear off that hits the battery box. This allows you to move it up a little more. But I have mounted cover with both ears on them. Can't understand the trouble you are having.

    Those were my favorites!! 1st one was a 63 Dodge 440 with police package. It was never messed up with stickers or lights and it was a standard shift. Black with red interior!! Beautiful Car. I pulled the 3 speed and put in a 4 with Hurst shift kit and changed the 4 barrel to 3 Duces. I was never outrun in that thing and I took on all that wanted to try. Even took one of the big Vettes but that boy just couldn't drive. I would give anything to have that one back.
