I just got one question. What the He** is a Garage???
-
I remembered the 3-4-5 but have had so many numbers running thru my head I couldn't remember how to step it up. Is it 10-15-20?
-
There is a old rule for making sure something is square. Is it 3-4-5?? You measure one direction 3 ft 4 ft the other way and if it is 5 ft across diagonal it is square??
-
Now why didn't I think of that???:rotfl:
-
That is what I was trying to say. Opposite sides are same diagonals are 14 inches off?? Dam rubber tapelines!!! My long opposite sides are 40' each. My short sides are 18' My diagonals come out 43' and 44' 7" WTF??? 19 inches difference???

Glad to hear most of it is going good. I hve never came to terms with the steel in my leg and foot. It lets me know every day that it is there. Hope yours comes out better.

Sorry I missed this. Best things you can do is sync the carbs and Sea-Foam. Color Tuning them would be nice if you knew someone that had one. I still can't find mine. If the plugs are still in your carbs at least no one has messed with them. Again sorry I missed this things have been crazy around here. -
Alternative to Molly Lube?
Yammer Dan replied to a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I got a 10 oz tube of Molybdenum Disulfide Grease at the Yamaha dealer for 7 bucks. I don't think it has as much Molybdenum Disulfide content as the Honda Grease but cheaper and I think it will do fine. I don't know of one to add to final drive oil but there are several lube additives out there. -
Been a long time since I done this stuff. I know if if you measure a square across corner to corner when your measurements are the same it is square. Right?? If you have rectangle footer you just measure cross corner to cross corner in a x pattern on the long sides and it should come out the same to be square. Right?

I have taken those masters apart and cleaned them several times with success. Saying that might get me called stupid again but if you are carefull you can take it apart and clean it carefully and make it work. Just watch what you are doing. You know to treat the seals carefully but clean them good. Be carefull not to overfill it when you put it back togather. Thr Proportioning valve is with the master. Do them all at the same time. Getting it in ond out is a pain but doable if you take your time. New crush washers would be good if you had them. I don't change them everytime I get in there. Whole job can be done in couple hrs.

But I really been working on that!!!
-
How do you make them til you can see them larger?

I had figured out a plan to salvage what I had and I know it will work. He don't want to listen. I thought I was supposed to be the employer. Word is he does great work but?? Only his way I guess.

Our Governor owns a big chunk of the race track here....But I will probally vote for him.

Good luck with it Ruffy. Keep us posted. After moving all those cinderblocks my shoulders and arms feel like they are swelling??? Leg handled this better than I expected but I kept the compression hose on while working. Temps warmed up and I wanted to shed everything else. Fat old man with nothing but a compression hose on one leg hopping around the yard with a cinderrblock in each hand??

What Earl said.

Measuring across corner to corner on a rectangular footer if your measurments come out the same it is square. Right?? Mine is 1 ft off. Metal Building I was planning on sitting on top of footer must have exact foundation to sit on. This guy is wanting to redig footers and repour. ????? Yes those are holes. More chipped block than I want to count. Maybe I am stupid but if you do chip a block (and it does happen) wouldn't you turn the chip to the inside? He used no headers in the footer for stepdowns. Must have cut 100 block doing the house because his footers there were not level. He had to carve block to make them fit. Mortar joints not filled. I should have shot him!!

I threw that camera in the trash can. Warden got it out again. Then she posted the pics!!! New contractor looked at it this evening. Claims I really got screwed. Wanting to do unecessary stuff to make it work. I'm probally going to end up doing it myself.

I think the kids catch more than we realize. Maybe we don't throw enough?? When my Marine son came home and told me "When I went in I was proud to be a "Big Bad" Marine. Now I'm just proud to be a Marine. I realized he had caught more than I thought.
