    With a Venture engine you could use the shaft drive and get rid of that exposed chain. I could see it being trouble if much off-road stuff was done.

    i still think I would call the bank. And his insurance might cover a period if it had just expired and he didn't get to it. They sometimes cover for a few days. But not if he just let it go.

    Almost all the parts will interchange. Trunk is bigger on 85. As said hookup for boost sensor is different I think. It is the last of the 1200 engines.

    Saw her just couple days before that happened Gerald. Glad she wasn't in it. I won't start on my opinion of Insurance laws. Hope your insurance takes care of things.

    On center stand and no more than 1/2 way up the sight glass. I use Castrol 20/50. Right off the shelf at Wally World. Do not use anything with Fricton Moderfiers Will make your clutch slip.

    I was looking at boots couple weeks ago. Found pair I really liked and could get my busted foot in. Showed them to Warden to get her opinion and she started laughing??? She said you don't want to sit around the campfire and prop your feet up with those at the Venture rider meets. I had not looked. Across the bottom in huge letters HARLEY DAVIDSON!! I didn't buy them....

    Calipers look about the same I was just guessing R1 pads might fit 86.I have a set of used R1 pads. Was thinking I need to have set ready for "Brown Sugar." I'm hard on front brakes. I have extras for the 85. Need to ride it more.

    I didn't ask for anything for the block work. Its done and is what it is. I just want a pad.
