  1. Nothing.
  2. Or the time I didn't need stoplights help. Was a girl I had been trying to impress. She and some friends were hanging out in parking lot when I pulled up leather Jacket shades and didn't put feet down!!!
  3. Didn't there use to be a J C Whitney one that would work??
  4. Goldburgs pretty sore this morning but not bad otherwise. Might do Total Gym a little today.
  5. This is the one we try NOT to get members for!!! Weight Room is really rough on my leg. Trying to stay away from the pills.Shoulder is complaining pretty good but if I push it maybe...... I can't be much worse than I was. Pain just a little more intense. At least now I'll have something to blame it on.
  6. I haven't tasted that stuff in years. Thought about it but family gatherings here almost need a zip code!!!
  7. He will probally get away with it and be back on the road soon.
  8. If it is very dull I use a sponge brush to put it on let it soak in good.
  9. Summersville just watch speed. Gauley Bridge just don't breathe!! And Smithers. Both pretty tough. They will get you for 1 mph over espically if you are wearing a uniform in Smithers. I wouldn't worry a lot if you stay on 16 they are not that bad. I would stay away from Smithers or stay 2 or 3 mph under. But it is just a spot in the road.
  10. Me Too!! I got one already wired so I can cheat...
  11. I'm hoping by Spring I won't have to attend that one!!:rotfl: Just take it one day at a time Tom. That is a beauty of a bike. I would love to have one of those. Stoplight to stoplight a 1st Gen don't want nothing to do with them.:whistling:Did I say that??
  12. Not a hard job at all once you know what is in there. But 1st time can be a little scary!
  13. I still feel the steel I have too Tom but it gets better slowly. The socket on my shoulder was split and the shoulder blade was broken off where it joins the joint and the blade itself was broken. Leg was crushed and hip was fractured. Ribs were broken. Don't think I'll ever forget I have it but its starting to work better and the weight room is going pretty good except for the tumble I took last night. And it was my fault. I knew better than to try what I was. Leg is swollen good this morning and reminds me every time I step on it. I thank God and all the prayers from this site every day.
  14. I remember when I first started boxing when I was young. Dad had told me he boxed a little back in the day but I didn't pay much attention to this. About the time I thought I was getting really good and was ready to take on Liston or Clay (yeah that long ago) Dad and I got into a little discussion one morning and I raised my hands like the badasss I thought I was. Across that room thru a doorway across another room and a wall stopped me!! My feet never touched the floor during my trip!! I still swear the Old Man never moved. And I swear I never done that again. After that I heard Dad a few times bragging to his friends about how fast I was and I always just stood there and kept my mouth shut. Don't know if this fits in this thread very well but some lessons you learn stay with you!!
  15. I really think the trouble I've had with the bike is my fault. When I got back to where I should be doing something I stayed in that chair with the remote too long. I'm not trying to tell you to rush things but a little of the right kind of exercise with keep you from loosing all your strength. And it will sneak up on you. Please don't take this the wrong way and try to push things too fast. That too can cost you big time and is what put me back in the chair to begin with. I didn't listen to the docs!!
  16. Looking quick last night. I see them now. I got a set of those. Hard to find the deals that used to be on Flea-Bay but they are still around.
  17. Fear kept me away Annie. There are still some things I'm not going to try and I didn't mention falling with the barbell last night because of stupid leg (just the leg goose) and that hurt but I shouldn't have been moving the way I was with it. Slammed the leg into bench and then floor pretty good as I took a tumble with barbell across my shoulders. Sore but not bad this morning. I limp a little worse. But for the most I feel good. Determined right now to stay with it.
  18. I will mostly agree with what Skid said. Just watch the speed thru there it is not that bad but a easy area to let it roll a little faster than you intend. I got stopped there in about 99 but didn't get a ticket. Just watch the speed limit signs and you will see some great sights.
  19. Thats a beauty Tom. I would like to have one of them but....Anyway as for your thoughts on your shoulder I felt the same way with leg, shoulder and hip being busted. But give it time to heal and don't rush it. It is going to take some time. I won't say the shoulder can be as good as new because it probally won't. I don't have any trouble with the bike (I watch it at low speed and don't get into tight turns to the right if I can keep from it. But with luck and a few Prayers from here I do OK. Getting back to the weight room was one of my fears. I've heard a lot of popping and cracking this week but so far except for little fall with barbell yesterday I'm doing Great!! Give it time and see what happens. There are still a few good 1st Gens out there.
  20. I don't know why he rides it but I bet he goes thru some back tires on the bike!!
  21. I think I'm getting this thing! Don't feel bad at all tonight. A lot sooner than I expected. That kid threw 300 lb on a big bar when we were about finished and started doing "Goldburgs" on it then says "You don't have to do this one Old Man!!! So I did 30 reps on it and walked away.... I may pay for that one tomorrow!!
  22. I thought I was the only one that had flopped like that!!
  23. Sure isPurty.:95:I missed it!! As the Warden claims "Ya can't have em all":rotfl: That is a beauty. Good luck with it.
