  8. Pushed it tonight. hope the Warden will help me out of bed in the morning. Got 400 lbs with my legs. not bad for a old one legged man.
  9. In the Dark??? Whats a trailer??
  10. I'll get it done in the morning Lew.
  11. I would not do oil pan or exhaust collector. Although both may be safe it just don't fit right in my little brain when you could use a block or something and put the weight on the frame. Old collectors will crack and I just don't like pushing on a oil pan. If on center stand the front cross member will do. I have used a bottle jack there.
  12. That about says it all. I think everyone agrees that Yamaha was miles ahead of everyone with the 1st Gen. But where did they go?? Not 2nd Gen bashing with this one but I think most will agree the 2nd Gen was a step backwards in a lot of ways and few forward. The 83-85 1st Gens were the cream of the crop if the would have just grown with the times???
  13. Did you know that with the 76 Eldorado with the 500 cube engine and front wheel drive you could pull the rear wheels off the ground in reverse??? Won a lot of beer money with that thing. Turn it around and drive it frontwards and the guys with what they thought were Hot Rods couldn't believe what that old sled would do. Til they got a good view of the back bumper!!
  14. CLEAN IT?? Does it make it Faster??
  15. Sore today. Back at it tomorrow.
  16. :sign yeah that: What Jack said.
  17. Open drains on carbs and turn key on and off a few times. Listen for clicks.
  18. Hey Bob something reminded me this morning. When shopping in the Islands be very carefull shopping and standing in line holding cash card or wallet in your hand. They are watching to snatch it and run. And they can run. Snatched a twenty out of my hand the 1st week I was working down there. Shocked when I caught them. Cops couldn't believe it. Said nobody ever catches them. Guess they weren't used to snatching beer money from crazy hillbillies. I could run then. I would just have to stand and watch them go now. Megan Bay is the beach you want to see on St Thomas if you get the chance. And the view from the top of Crown Mountain is something. Don't forget to try the Goat water Stew!! And the Bush Tea!! And Rosie O'Gradys Bar. Conch Fritters. Man I wish I was back there for a few days!!
  19. Mine woke me up about 4 times between 1 AM and 3;30 Am so here I am again. Probally end up back in bed without it and sleep til 8 or 9. If I had to get up to go to work it would be rough.

  23. Will fit right in there. Why is the 84 locked up? It would take a lot for me to give up on one of those things.
  24. Mix the rest of that can of Sea-Foam about 1/2 and 1/2 with fresh gas. Pull the line from rear of fuel pump and using a extra piece of line start bike and fill carbs with mix. Leave sit overnight.
  25. AND?? Name something they don't take Exception to??:whistling: Yeah she is busy elsewhere.
