    Never seen the friction disks wear out. They just loose tension in the springs. But even with springs they won't :whistling:outrun a 1st Gen!!

    I usually just loaded some Rock Salt for those that didn't seem too serious... See you mentioned shooting in your next post!! I gave up fighting with those SOB's a long time ago. The VA not the young boys sniffing around!!

    Getting in the habit of doing it is hard to do Dano. I have everything sitting at home and I can walk around it. The reason I started this thread was to push myself and maybe get a few challenges from others but they all ran and hid!! I joined the gym because it just puts things in a direction. Make any sense? I paid for the gym and my family(includes this bunch) knows it. Thats why the thread. To keep me from quiting. I'm not doing it to loose weight although it sure wouldn't hurt anything. I just want back what I had when I could walk the yard of a Maxium Security Prison and no one got in my way!! I had fallen so far it finally just had to be done. I spent about 4 yrs in that chair with the remote. Just keep after it Dano. I'll remind you once in a while and you do the same for me. After you do it for a while you don't want to miss but it takes a while to create that want to. You know I was about ready to upset the Warden when you put that 84 up for sale.

    Started like he was going somewhere. Maybe he had to check his map?? The one Hardley that I beat around here had all the attitude the bigger engine and everything. It looked good sounded Great. I was a little worried. I destroyed him. He started making all kinds of excuses til sombody said. "I think its the rider!!" He went nuts!! I got out of there. He won't talk to me anymore?? Not Harley bashing Ed. It was just funny if you were there. He wanted to fight!! I didn't want to tell me that wouldn't be much of a contest either.... See ya at MD??

    Tried a lot of different things last night and not as sore as I expected to be. I think I'm getting there to where the soreness won't cripple me for a day. I can get in there and do the lifting but my old legs and feet ain't keeping up.

    May have to work on the Saab. "Brown Sugar" and "Ugly" I'm not too worried about.. I've never put it against clock but that Saab has a lot of scat. I've busted the new Hemi with it pretty easy and one of the new Camaros that wanted to play.

    "Ugly" and "Brown Sugar"?? I wanna hear about that little yellow car... May have to get the Saab 900 Turbo out!! My last Hardley was a 56 Pan. May have improved a few things since then.... Mine was Mine was rigid frame Raked 47 degrees 16 inches over springer forks, no front brake, holes drilled in frame to run what wiring there was thru, no exposed wiring,. Tank molded to frame Candy Apple Red. I thought it would run OK til my buddy got a 900 ZI Kaw. Winter just plain SUCKS!!

    Another good workout. The good ones are starting to outnumber the bad. I want to do it now if I could find some energy it would be great. Been reading about a lot of different things just haven't tried anything yet.

    Very Sharp!!! They make me want one when I see them but 1st Gen luggage holds all I need. Maybe that would help convince Warden to go along??
