    I was hoping that would be case this time but it ain't looking good. Tried to give him every chance short of just sending him the cash and that ain't happening. Lot of the wrong things with the ad could be explained I think I'm hoping for nothing on this one. Got the Warden talked into going 4-wheeling with me and some of the clan and don't want to dump a lot of money on one of the things. Figure if I can get her out on one of the the Bike might be doable.

    Played around with tapeline out there for a while yesterday. Might be able to salvage most of those footers.

    I didn't hear That!!! Gary probally has the "Boss" 1st Gen around. When it comes to plain Bone Stock "Brown Sugar" would be in the running. And if I ever get a garage not sure she will be stock. I may be bugging Dingy for advice!!

    I drove to Ex Army buddies house in Boston in 1972 handed him the keys and said "Don't give them back to me til I go Home!!" Boston is Plain CRAZY!! My buddies favorite words were "They Got Brakes" He never let up!! He asked me to bring my bike up and teach him to ride. Take a bike there No Way In HE**!!! I wasn't that brave and I was still in my 20s

    You can buy replacement bulbs for them at Lowes, Home Depot.

    Oh yeah a 1st Gen also has those heat vents coming out the side cover.... Great hand warmers. Foot warmers if you pick your foot up a little.

    Yeah its on Craigslist so how could he do it anyway. Claims he had a E-Bay ad but couldn't sell it. I just want to harrass him all I can now.

    I told the A**wipe to show me the E-Bay ad it was going thru. He replied "I had it listed on E-Bay and couldn't get a buyer"

    Don't remember if magnets could be reversed. Sure you got fuel coming in ? How bad did you flood those plugs. This new gas will ruin one if flooded too bad.

    Positioning of magnets is very touchey. Sure you got them right? Been a long time since I been in one of those.

    Seems to me like the 2nd gen's aren't trying to be anything they were not manufactured to be unlike some V-Max wannabes who never will truly be. V-Max or 1st Gen?? Which came 1st???:rotfl: V-Max has a 1st Gen engine.

    With a good dowhill shot into a straight stretch I cranked the "Blue Beast" to redline and beyond in 1st 2nd and 3rd. Don't remember 1st & 2nd but when I cranked it out in 3rd as the tach was approaching 8500 RPMs I glanced at speedometer and watched it climb to 120 MPH. When I looked at the tach it was passing redline.
