Clutch SPRING or SPRINGS
Yammer Dan replied to Old Miner's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Pretty sure it is the one plate type spring. Early 83-85 1st Gens had the individual springs. See SkyDoc for the upgrade. It will cure your slip. -

Something to brag a bout a little. Son-in-law is benches about 350 and works out a lot. We have been in weight room a lot at same time but don't do our workouts togather. I don't go for the real heavy weight. Any way to make long story short we are going to work out togather this summer. Cutting my days a little with welding school and garage going on. "But last night it was You lead I'll just follow" I don't rest much between sets and move from one thing to another. He couldn't keep up!! Sweat was pouring off him. I stopped a few sets short of my usual. But I will admit I was pushing a little...Problem is next workout is his!!

I'm working on it. Cure time on motar is one thing I won't have much of. I'm coming up at a little less than 4000 sq ft. just figuring in my head. Thats walls and floor 20x50. I'm going to try to spray before roof goes on. Roof is going to be metal so won't have to paint that. Ceiling inside will have to be done later. Not worried about anything that far down the road. If paint can claims to cove 300 ft I'm thinking figure it at 200? No worry on outside about overspray on anything. If I change colors on inside floor & walls will airless sprayer cut a line I can get away with?? Not needing knife edge perfection. Walls are done this morning pouring floor in the morning.I'm trying to think ahead a little.

50' long and it takes 3&1/2 ft for a 1st gen... sideways. It might be kind of tight!!!

Bummer!! I looked over doors and their instructions look to be a challenge. So I called my friendly blood sucking Lowes and they only want 300 bucks each to install them!!! Trying to save where I can on this thing and that just sounds Crazy to me. With my Vets discount I only paid 294 for both doors!! i thought it was great price for insulated doors but I see where they make it up. If I can tear a 1st Gen apart I can do these things. Got 90 page instructions with them. 1/2 of that is in that other language. Maybe those are more understandable??

I'm in there so far. Got 2x6s to frame on inside of block. Thats what I ment just forgot to mention board that goes there first. I think I'm going to make header 2x8 just to make it fit block. 2x6 would leave hard to fill gap there. Not sure how to make header yet. Several different ways to go with that. My ceiling joists are going to have plenty of room to hang rails. Won't need low rider kit. But doors did not come with material to hang rails. Another 20 bucks per door. I really thought of building a two piece door ( like french doors) but didn't think it would hold up under time. I'm getting this!! Thanks for all the help!! Pouring end block at door sides full of concrete. Walls are over my head this morning!!

See I was going to be nice and not mention that.....
