  1. Good workout today. Leg still don't like me but its coming along.
  2. It was probally a drug deal. Druggies just don't know any better. He thought he was bringing the kid up right!!!! Gonna catch it for that one but I been watching my neighbors. Thats the way they do it.....
  3. Better leave that Takillya alone....
  4. Get some Moly Grease. Honda seems to be the favorite.
  5. I had three filters in line once doing the same thing. When bottom came out of tank I changed it. You have some good ideas. I have cleaned fuel pump. Didn't help much. My filters were catching a lot of rust. I didn't have the gas go to the oil. My tank gave out right around the petcock. This was my first 1st Gen and when it took a notion to run you had better hang on!! Watch Flea-Bay you might catch a good tank. And check the bottom of yours. Carefully....Stuck my finger thru mine after it started seeping when I pushed on it. Gas goes EVERYWHERE QUICKLY!! Sea-Foam was only 4 bucks a can then. Get some BerryMan's Chem Tech at wally world. Blue & Red can I think. About 1/3 the price of Sea-Foam and in cases like this maybe better.
  6. I don't stop as often as I used to. And watch closely.
  7. I got a Hooker story. I got approached by one of these ladies at the mall not long ago. Her opening line was "Hey Old Man Your Equipment Still Working??" I said " Ask my Wife behind you" She looked over her shoulder at the Warden coming about 10 ft away and left rather quickly. I told the Warden she was asking directions. Didn't want to see bloodshed right there in the middle of the mall. Took his 9 month old with him. Intelligence is not a requirement...
  8. Red Roof Inn will be there.
  9. I use the Marvel Mystery Oil and Berryman's. Sea-Foam is great but overpriced anymore to just use it. I mix several and use them togather. Not telling what or how much and you better not ask goose.....
  10. Berryman's is a good cleaner but I think maybe a little harsh to use regularly. Sea-Foam is safe for carb parts.
  11. DON'T GIVE UP ALL THE SECRETS!!!!:whistling:
  12. I'll be nice and not say anything about texas.... GOOD LUCK!!!
  13. 1500 bucks to my Ranger. Really got me when Ranger didn't have a blemish!!
  14. OK I've never been bashfull about letting my 1st Gens see Redline. Question is I play with "Brown Sugar" now just sitting in the garage and if I bring her to redline I get gas smoke and smell. And my MPG has dropped a lot this year?? Everyone knows I'm a firm believer in the nectar of the Gods (Sea-Foam) Other than that and syncing them I don't mess with them if running good. Have never that I can remember (don't mean I haven't) messed with the air screws on her. Just this smoke and smell are unusual for her. She seems to run as strong as ever. Right Brown Angel??? Maybe off a tad. Should I be concerned?? I'm not sure if she is doing this under a load. Haven't noticed it. Its just I haven't recieved my 12 bucks worth yet this month or is that just once a year??:rotfl:
  15. I ran into the 1st one I couldn't sync at MD. Had to call on Earl. Linkage was binding up someway. Never had that happen. Had one carb topping out on the guage and couldn't get it to come down. But Earl got it. I think he has seen a few of these things before.... 12 bucks a year for somebody with the knowledge he has? Better than a Blue Light special!!! That thing is looking good Lew.
  16. Good one!!
  17. Drain plug is easy access. Lower right corner of carb. You can shoot a blast of air back thru it.
  18. :sign yeah that::sign yeah that::sign yeah that:
  19. Its all about that big V-4 heart!! Without my 1st Gens I would have to consider a 2nd Gen. One of these days someone will figure out how to put 1st Gen V-Max tranny in 2nd Gen along with V-Max cams & heads. LOOK OUT!!
  20. 7 Bikes.... But I always thought 10 was such a good number!! Thats the number of knots if another bike shows up...
  21. Humm Define: WELL....
  22. I really wanted to ask about that one but just got too much going on. Somebody got a nice bike. I know another Red 84 that would be a good deal.
  23. Got a set that ended up with missing pieces. They are really high on replacement parts. Wouldn't cut me a break of any kind. I still got part of a headset somewhere...
  24. Adding just any Carb cleaner is not good. Some of that stuff will clean everything out. Along with seals and things it shouldn't. Sea-Foam seems to be the choice around here and works great. There are others Star Tron, Something they use in texas (can't remember name) Berryman's is good and cheap at Wally world but a little harsh to use a lot of. I recently got a new to me Honda Rubicon that was hard to start and had to run for 20 to 30 mins before it would run without choke. A good strong dose of Sea-Foam and you hit button and it runs perfect hot or cold with no choke.
  25. If he didn't have that trike...
