    This is another year my pocketbook saves me from this problem. BUt my 1st Gens provide me with "Hang On" preformance and give me something to do. I really am not sure if I would buy a new one if I could. Warden tells me to get a new one and get rid of all the old junk!!!:duck:When Hardleys (and 2nd Gens) start outrunning "Brown Sugar" I will do that!!

    Wax that sheild! Make it last. Pledge works great to clean them but I use whatever wax on hand. Put a good coat of wax on it before that 1st ride. If you had a old cloudy one try some wax on it. Might be surprised.

    I would never tell you to ride it there but I've been caught out on a couple of those. I came home very easy.
