I was just kidding(I'm sure Rick knows that) but being a 1st Gen rider of course when I look I do look for 1st Gens. Not trying to start a bash(1st Gens would win anyway) but wondering how many 1st to 2nd there are now? 1st Gens will dissappear (before 2nd Gens?) sooner or later. I can remember a lot of 1st Gen riders deserting and going to 2nd Gen. But not many going the other way. Just rambling and trying to talk myself out of going to the gym today (not feeling great) Again some great pics Rick. And put togather nice. Good job. Now about the 1st Gens in this years!! You know the Faster, Better looking, Lasting forever Bikes??

Do it yourself but you got to push it. Just don't push it too hard and break anything..... Of course I wouldn't know anything about that. One trip to see the direction they are going might be a good idea.

Looks like ya got a good start on it. I had a 56 with 312 that would have Smoked that 289......on low end but was geared a lot lower.

A saying I have tried to teach my kids. Some it caught with some it didn't. "LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS" and you can be happy. Thuis kind of reminds me of that. I have a few 1st Gens and will probally have another. But family didn't do without. One of the reasons I haven't rode as much the last couple yrs was not because I couldn't afford it but it would have made me tap reserves at times to do so. Things are more "caught up" this year. Not trying to steal your thread Miles it just made me think. I got reasons I won't bid on this one. I like the looks of it but you can have it. I probally haven't made much sense with this but..... I hope you get it!! But then you won't ride that other junk.....
