  8. Got to 244 Fat A** lbs. Started the other way last week. 10 lbs gone in 1st Week!!! Goal is 190???
  9. Yeah I use 2x4s and extra jack....
  10. Better break two nails.....And be carefull once you have it jacked up. You will be changing the balance point of things when you start pulling parts off. Pulling rear while on centerstand you should be OK. It will be pretty stable.
  11. I about agree with Jeff. If you are doing all that it would be much easier on the bench(heavy Duty) instead of bending over for a lot of hrs.
  12. I use the Round Black Tires on my 1st Gens. and have no trouble stayong ahead of the 2nd Gens.......
  13. Have a GREAT ONE DON!!!
  14. We need to keep things like these somewhere we could get at them easy. Along with best deals for other maint items. More work for Don since he ain't doing nothing so that wouldn't work but several have info tucked away ( I got the # for those bearings on paper somewhere but can't find.) When we need something it takes us forever to find it or we come on here and ask where to get. A section with regular maint items would be something to think about. I was thinking about doing a extra set of wheels and it got me thinking. I KNOW I'm done.
  15. Riding in that position might be a little tricky.... WELCOME!! Good to see some are almost as good as I am with a camera!!
  16. We know what you are dong this weekend.....
  17. I have a cellar. Warden keeps it stocked.
  18. Two hound dogs chased another hound all day long. Up hills, down hills, around hills, thru creeks, thru towns, always close but couldn't catch up. Along toward evening they had stopped to catch breath. One of the hounds turned to the other and said " Whew....Mam this is a ***** ain't it?" The other looked at him and said" It dam sure better Be!!!
  19. Planning several miles before then.
  20. Thanks. I've bled it good. Replaced Master spring and plunger. Hate to yank it out of there. I have a extra somewhere I might just throw in the bag (change on side of road??) It looks like replacing it would be best way to go but blasted things coming up close to 100 bucks. Would rather spend it on gas... Its just my 85 shifts as smooth as butter and the 86 is rough best I can explain. I'll start looking at 2nd Gens........when Scratch's place freezes over!!!
  21. And the 83 1200s were different from the others.......
  22. OK I know most opinions on rebuilding clutch slave. If it is completely out. What if as I do suspect low pressure? Mine is getting hard to shift and I'm thinking slave cylinder. Rebuild? New seals should help. Or buy new and who has them besides Mama Yama. I don't loose fluid but getting harder to shift all the time. I think i have a kit tucked away somewhere. But hate to waste time if it won't help. 1st Gen 1986
  23. Slow speed handling?? You are in trouble!!! It sure looks SLOW!! Hope you enjoy it!!!
  24. Was one there last year. I mounted mine on a piece of Countertop about 4'x4'. Then cut it to fit in corner. Looks great. I'm sure it will be a lot easier to use.
