    I volunteered for the draft. Thought I would just beat them to the punch. If they do it again I'm going to Canada!!! Probally not. I'd volunteer again just to see the country.....

    Just a thought. Pull mufflers and see if they are full or pluged. Could be out of time but I wouldn't think so.

    Spray silicone in the lock and just keep working it. Afraid you might find bad news inside that tank but it can be relined.

    Welcome. I have a 1982 Maxium and a 1985 Venture with only 24k miles on it that I'm keeping in reserve. Also have a 83 with 19k but I suspect that one is 119k. And my 86 rider. E-Bay is still the place to find parts (along with the guys here) Do a search on E-Bay motors. My page brings up about 23,000 parts with a few of them being Chevy Venture parts but a great way to browse for parts.

    I'm thinking with his attitude I don't want him touching it again. If I have to listen to him make any more excuses and tell me again he doesn't know anything about the gouge in the door I'm probally going to get into trouble. Just gotta figure out which way to go. He claims 24 yrs without a disatified customer. Can't believe that.
