  1. Whatever spray wax you are using on the bike. It will shock you. Wipe up and down. Don't do circles. POWER HOUSE cleaning wax at Dollar Tree for a buck a can is great.
  2. I have a 84 I think that I haven't tested yet. They will work but boost on 83 is different. I keep forgetting how numbers work. I loaned a perfect 83 out at Ashville a few yrs ago and it never came back.
  3. Her heart is strong enough to take care of whatever she needs.
  4. Just won't happen!! When I get old and slow down and get me a Hardley maybe, Til then I ain't breaking "Brown Sugars" heart and putting her on trailer.....
  5. How do you think I stay like this????
  6. I like the bag setup on them. Like you said just looks more useable. And sound system is Great. If they weren't so dang slow...... With a good set of pipes that sound...... And they don't need the Bust your Eardrums things. Just need to hear them. I'm jealous. "Brown Sugar" is 27 yrs old!!
  7. I move about as fast as a 2nd Gen or a Hardley anymore. Garage still has things to be done but it is getting there and "Brown Sugar" has a roof. I still need two windows about 31x 39. Just matter of slapping them in. Doors are on and lock!! Neighbors been checking it out. They just don't know which nights I sleep there. With 12 guage loaded with bird shot and 357 with 180 grain hollowpoints. I'll get some pics soon.
  8. Prayers with him and family Rick.
  9. I told you not to slow down!!
  10. But the downhill throw is easier.....
  11. Finished installing my "new to me" desk in my "New" garage!! 3 filing drawers and shelves for all my bike and car books. Shovel is still over hill.
  12. About the 6th item down is 3rd gear 92 mph measured at 7500 Rpm's!! Crank close to 9000 Rpm's this would be......:rotfl: Those riding Hardley's can ignore this as it no longer pertains to them..... 13. HEY!! I thought I had rights to this corner!! Can Hardley turn around in here. Hardley any room. Start a Hardly site?? It would Hardley get used as not very many Hardley's. It would Hardley be a place to hang out as there would Hardly be any body there!!!!
  14. Shortcuts can Bite!! Glad this one didn't bite any harder.
  15. And better be able to run FAST!!!
  16. I stand corrected Sir. Just wasn't thinking without my drugs!!
  17. Let me know. Right now a 700 mile ride doesn't sound great. Shovel has really been setting leg off and I have a lot of digging to do on my list. Looked it all over today and decided. Screw that shovel I'm going to rent trencher. I'm not one for using equipment to save a little sweat but leg just don't like that stuff anymore. And since I've already had my 29th birthday that could have a little to do with it. Gonna take some pills and a nap before I go down over the hill and retrieve shovel I threw down there!!
  18. Added to the prayers against this terrible disease.
  19. I'm used to "letting" those 2nd gens go in front. Somebody has to watch for fallen parts!! And push them a little. I got a lot to do this week just hoping it works out. Right now not sure I could ride but trying to stay away from the dope. I got a bottle in reserve. Good thing about the pills I take for this thing they don't seem to affect me mentally at all (what could?)but they do work some on the pain and they make me hungry. Lot of Micky d's on the way??
  20. Bells not supposed to work if you install them yourself.
  21. One week from National and leg is really kicking me!!I've been pushing it but got to get some things done. Damn thing is trying to shut me down again. OK I'll quit whining and get back to work. Work is what I wish I could do. 5 min of using the blasted thing and I have no choice but to let it recoup for couple hrs. EAT MORE PILLS!! Worried because heat of bike increases pain. 700 miles.
  22. Older and Slower.....
  23. She keeps changing it!!
  24. That's a long line....
  25. Yep that's the one!!!
