  8. Subframe and tank is easy pull once you've done it. Takes a little head scratching 1st time but what don't??

  12. Adjust steering head. No parts needed. Forks leaking? Progressive springs like getting new front end.
  13. With it in air(tire off ground) place it in center and push it to one side hard enough to make it go all the way. If it falls to the stop and bounces off adjust steering head. If it wll fall over there and just stay it should be tight enough. Do not push hard just enough to make it fall by itself.

  16. This one had me worried til I saw they were being put on trailers and I realized it must be a 2nd Gen Thread!!! Had me scared for a while:whistling:
  17. :sign yeah that::sign yeah that: If it is more than 1/2 way up the sight glass it can suck it into air box. Easy way just pull top off of air box and see if you have oil in it.
  18. Manual does a fair job with this one. I pulled one before this site running blind...
  19. Got to try "new" one out today. Works like a champ!! I can set the air for the 1st time in a while.

  21. Don't try to overtighten shoulder bolts. It will get you in trouble!!
  22. There is a thread for taking Left hand controls apart and cleaning. And there is one for the right hand controls. Neither are 5 min jobs.
  23. f I remember right screws holding dash in are accessible thru signal light holes. Kind of tricky 1st time you take it out.
  24. You moved a plug wire around somehow. If you had all that plastic out probally close to coils. Make sure you still have them all in the coils snug.
