56 Pan would flood itself and die if left at idle for more than a minute. Trying to start that beast after flooding it taught lessons never forgot!!!

I'm too sore to get the thing turned around and pointed at the road again!! It really slammed me. I knew better than to try that hard to keep it up but just didn't want to see it hit the pavement!! No real damage to me I don't think but I hurt!! And I got to do close inspection on bike. Not a scratch except snapping that peg mount into. It done a good job alng with my foot under the bags!! Your story reminds me of one. I had a chopper years ago and was someplace (forget where) but there were some young ladies with very little clothes (must have been to poor to afford more) I was playing reving it up and trying to get attention when I got into that big chopper a little too much. Up on its back wheel all the way across that parking lot and barely got it down before meeting the side of building somebody stuck there!! I got it turned around and hear " Do IT Again!!" I don't think they understood the "You go to He** Bit**!!!" Sun is shining:crying: That old Military thing would be a keeper for me Puc. I got a slightly damaged 2nd Gen...... I may get booted for that one!!!:rotfl:And I just paid my dues......

That was one of my first thoughts Squeeze. Easing it along like a old man cost me. When that engine died it was a done deal. it just had to happen in the only spot that I couldn't put a foot down. A foot in either direction and no problem. Or if it had gone to the other side. If I had just stuck it in there like I should have but Warden was watching and I slowed down for some stupid reason. I hit harder than I ever have with such a slow drop. It slammed me down once it got hold of me. I hurt all over. Trying to hide that from the Warden but don't think I'm fooling her.

Years ago after a big snow I took a trip to florida. Got there bed was still full of snow. Had melted down a lot but still got some attention. Threw a snowball at a cop and he took it in good humor!!

I have a plastic model about 12 inches long of that one on my desk. I will let the grandkids hold it while watching very closely. That one is something Puc. I could go back to Hardley on that. A couple of the bigger Ammo can instead of the leather bags??

Mom used to say when I showed up she was looking to see where the new cast was!! A lot of this number can be put on accidents like foot with over 30 breaks according to doc that put it back together and accident in late 70s with 27 at once from head to toe. It is possible, Broke four in hand at once. Guy didn't get up for a while. Couldn't count breaks in leg in 06 and other foot in 09 had all 5 broke. It adds up but I hope its done. This healing crap ain't fun any more. Besides I done told Warden I quit riding like that!!!
