My experience with 2nd Gen brakes was sure interesting. I still haven't figured out what happened. The rear was sliding which doesn't scare me that much. Hang on and ride it out. Which I did very well as the skid marks show. What happened?? I don't know and can't remember. That from getting a thump on the head hard enough to cause bleeding on the brain again I guess. The bike according to Adrain stood up on the front wheel and threw me into the air above it. Did I at the last see that I was not going to stop and grab a handfull of front?? I don't know.

I have a scuffed place in the passenger part of my Corbin about 2 or 3 inches long. Could a upholstery place put a patch on it? It is not thru the material and I wouldn't want them taking cover loose just covering it up.

I don't think there has ever been a match for the 86 Venture Royale. Although the 1200s are sweet.

Hey yu know Puc that ain't such a bad idea....I had a pair of boots years ago that had a pretty thick sole. Must have been a 2 inch or better heel with a good thick sole but they were very comfy. Cain't remember the name of them but just looking at my riding boots now its not a bad idea to gain a inch. Would help my 30 inch inseam.

I finally got a appointment from VA for next Wed. Not sure what they are going to do.
