That's what I was thinking Puc. Have to try it. Getting tired of tossing almost full cans.

Most of us use ABS pipe glue for some repairs. My question is How can you save this stuff once you open the can. Seems if you use just a little but open it a few times next time you try to use it it is ruined even if you are very careful to seal it up good. Shame to have to toss it and you can't depend on having it on shelf when you need. Any way to keep it for a time??

Throwing 12 bucks at this site would be the best investment you ever made. Info found here is priceless. Plastic repair?? Sometimes just a can of ABS pipe glue can work wonders.

WE got a Cabellas in Charleston, West by God now. It is something. I found a 1st gen battery in their Bargin Cave for 30 bucks. Put that one on the shelf.

Thanks Boss. Electrical is my downfall but that will give me something to chase in the morning. Glued tabs back today. Was lucky most pieces were there and my scrap pile came in handy. Things went great on the tabs. On to the horns. Ain't let any smoke out of it yet.

Had to split faring to put headlight visor back. It hit hard enough to just pop it out of there. Wish I hadn't looked under faring. Broken tabs almost all on left side. Left side horn don't work. Don't believe it has since I got bike from way the one sounds by itself. Wires? It has wires. What are they for? No idea. Just want to find one that makes horn work. Must be Mexican horn. My headlight rings are OK Chuck. Visor has beauty mark but that's not a concern now. Guess a ride this weekend ain't gonna happen.

I was thinking 86 but I'm colorblind. Its close and a lot of goodies there.

I ain't wondering Puc but I want the days back where you could just hit a wide spot beside the road and wake up the next morning!!

Hey just a thought but Mud Daubers plugged the intake line on mine. Wouldn't do anything. Found by luck.

No luck with it today but I got one more idea. I just hate to give up on anything. The ring needs replaced anyway to make it pretty. I just want to make that old one work. That thing has to be perfect to get it to clamp down.

My story is sure different. I quit the BP meds and gave up on the CPAP machine and mine is 125/84 right now. Don't try this at home!! OR DON'T do as I do!!

What town would this be??? There used to be some pretty shabby ones but it seems they are not too much in demand any more. Still a couple I would pitch the tent first. Course I would pitch tent anyway....

The screw that clamps it together. Now stripped out:bang head: I can fix that I think.

I spent all day beating on one light trim ring that didn't look that bad. I think I'm going to have to toss it.

Got all lights working and everything mounted back up but for one driving light. Ring that holds it in housing is too mangled to get it to hold bulb in. Then trying to get it back on I stripped the screw hole that holds it.:bang head:

I made some progress on them today. Going out tomorrow to get bulb (the one in light was broken) so I can see if ring is going to clamp down like it should. I'm just trying to get road worthy now pretty can come later but it doesn't look bad. Headlight visor not wanting to play but small visors look good. Where I cut the wire is going to be hard to splice. Can't splice til I get bulb in there. Got the rest of it back in shape pretty good. I know Don is having nightmares but you can hardly see damage now. And I think I'm healing. I can get around pretty good if I don't strain too much.
