Thanks to all for the invite! My daughter, Cat, Redbeard and I had a great time, seeing some old friends and making some new. Its really hard to get time off to get to these meetings, but when you do, it makes it all the much better. Was enjoyable putting faces with names, Sleeperhawk, SH Mechanic, Blackjack and all. Word to the wise about GPS systems from a Law Enforcement perspective. Not to be a wet noodle, but in metro Atlanta, GPS system thefts are skyrocketing! Most people leave them visible attached to the windshield of their vehicles. Some of our lesser privledged population have no problem of breaking out a window and stealing your GPS and selling it to a co-hort for 10-20 bucks. Buys a "rock" or two. Now the trend is that the crooks after stealong your GPS system and knowing your a work, hit "home and get perfect directions to your house while your slaving away.. Now, I know that this is in a metro area, but crime is spreading out to all locals. Just my two cents, be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmm.Nope, not kidding, but they don't sound like a bad idea. Like I said, maybe I'm just RSV challanged...LOL My other bikes bags doesn't hold anything but spare oil, parts and tools. LOL Liners would get ruined ...... May just have to look into them? Do you have to remove the cassett tape holders that are on the inside of the bags to use them?

thanks Eck, yeah, I've had the news on here too, have a bunch of friends in the Blue Knights that stayed over last night in Anniston, and theres rumors about the wreck. She caled me and asked me to look into it. I haven't seen anything and I'm sure, betwen me in W. Ga. and you in Huntsville, we'd heard something. Thanks for checking for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a phone call from friends at Rumble on Noble over in Anniston. There are rumors of 17 bikes being involved in a wreck betwen Anniston and Ga. Anyone know or hear of anything?

While working on the bike the other day, I noticed that the reubber manifolds from the carbs and showing some signs of cracking. Bike is an 01 and has 55k on her. Is this comon? I don't notice any problems, have some slight backfiring, (have not plugged AIS yet). but the bike getrs consistant mileage, 35+. Is it expensive/difficult to replace the manifolds?

one was a Clayton County, Ga. cop, shot making an arrest, out on medicial leave.Oppss. Did i say he was a cop, Chief Turner fired him this morning.if he can ever find him? LOL

sorry it took so long to reply, been really busy. Well, he bought it. gonna fly out to vegas and ride it home. Owner kept great reciepts, retired cop. Hes gonna ride it home back to Ga. after a few side trips. Looks good, but I do agree its a lot of miles, but hell, if anything goes wrong, the experts can walk us through just about anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
