I am looking to mount a flag pole on the back of my 01 RSV. Now, not wanting to re-invent the wheel, I quickly browsed the forum and saw a post from I think Goose, but his mounted to a trailer hitch that had a square reciever. I have a "Denray" trailer hitch, so its just a bracket that bolts over the axle and is bolted down at the muffler brackets. The ball simply bolts through a hole at the end. Has anyone made a pole with a hitch like this? Please keep in mind, I don't weld,(don't have the equipment). I would be flying a 3x5 flag and probably highway sppeds, 70 or so, possibly for about 40 miles? Any ideas?

I'll second the vote on Bohanon, I too bought one from them for my 01 RSV. I think it was around 82 bucks shipped to the door, took 2-3 days? Very good service and so far its held a great charge, even in this cold winter we've had here inGa.

Well its time, I have shoulder surgery in the morning. Not looking forward to it, but it'd be nice to have full range of motion back. I have both a piybull and a Craftsman. While the pitbull has a broader, lower stance and both my Venture (with adaptor) and HD are very stable on it. The only drawback on the pitbull to me is the release. It has to be turned my hand wheres the Craftsman has a foot release. Not a really big deal. Also, the footpump is attached with a spring amd this can get get sloppy while trying to raise it. Its still a high quality jack. It does raise the bike a couple inches highr than the craftsman. My next toy will be a full motorcycle lift

Got a friend looking for a RSTD. Found a dealer with a new, 0 miles 2006 RSTD Midnight. They want 11k. Seems kinda high for a 4 year old bike? Any input here?

Eck, you too my friend, hope you and the famly had a great Christmas and that this will be a most prosperous New Years!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to another road trip, maybe even back to Lowell's??????????????? well, took the tires off yesteday and took them into the dealer early this morning. They busted the tires down, wired brushed the inner rims and reinstalled and sealed the tires(also installed a 90 degree metal valve stem up front) and they are holding. Gonna put them back on tomorrow and if this freeze ever lets loose of the south, hopefully willl get some road time here soon!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for all the insite folks, thats why this site is so great!!! Happy New Years to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, Happy New Years everyone! Hope to get a chance to ride more this year with ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been having an issue since Biketoberfest with slow leaks in both tires. Running Avon Venoms, maybe 8k on them. tires seem to be in ok shape and have bunches of tread on them. I'd like to think they have plenty of miles left. Went down, filled both to specs and sprayed some soapy water on them. Both of them are leaking badly on both sides of the rims???????????????? I've removed both and hope to get them to the stealer tomorrow to have them busted down and hopefuly resealed. Is this wishful thinking or do I need new tires or worse new rims??????????????????????????

Oh, no hard feelings here, but being on that side of the law(Cop) I'd made him call em, I'd LOVE for him to explain the reason I had to move my bike. now, he may have every right, but I'd probably make it so misarable, hoping even to get the media, that'd be a gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Private property or not, and I'm gonna stop this here before I get booted, but I'm not making fun or ribbing, snd definetly not poking fun at anyone here, I can be an stubborn sob just ......................finished with this

ok,l all, thanks for the reassurance, I don't feel bad about them not being there . Bike seems to stop ok, no noise, but hes now only got about 100 miles or so on the new pads. Mine did have the shims, cleaned them up but wonder how they would stop the squeel????/ Anyways, off to go rebuild my calipers, my parts just came in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
