Getting rid of old tires can be expensive. I had about 20 tires that needed to go. At $3 to $4 ea. it was not cheap.. but I don't think my postman would have taken them for me....... Still it's an interesting idea...

My wife retired a year ago (she's re-tired and I'm still-tired) I'll be 62 next month but am having to much fun working. I did take a buy-out from the Sault Tribe of Chippewa after working there for 18 and a half years and then went to work for the local schools doing the same job (at the same desk:rotf:) and now I'm just adding to my state pension and will probly work another 3 years.. Still playing in my Band (since 1963) and doing a live music, Sat morning radio show.. P.S. is this a poll?? do I win anything???

I ended up with a Tom Tom One. I like it and have had no problems. It's also ready to go right out of the box. It has a suction cup and will mount on my windshield of the bike or car and plugs into the lighter. (I had to install a lighter on my 1st gen).. I'm happy:cool10:

Wow thanks, That brings back some memories, when i graduated from the "box scooters" I got a Honda Dream it was all black with white fiberglass saddle bags and a windshield. It was a great little bike to have in 1965. -
I'll never complain about my driveway again. That looks like it could have been a lot worse.

Well I'm from this school of thinking.. but when I was reading your discription... I was thinking tire noise.. -
Sure could have used them horns today.. some guy passed me on the two lane comming into town with another car comming at us. when he came back into the lane I had to go to the shoulder to give him room.. about three miles further while in town some guy put on his left turning signal on and then moved right into my lane... I hit my horn and he moved back over, but I would have loved to have shook him up with those horns.. and wouldn't you know it..it was the same guy.

Pretty good Marcarl and I totaly agree with the pysco of it however If the driver thinks your being to assertive (agressive ) and goes into a fit of roadrage,,, all that goes out the (window if I had one) and its cover your ass any way you can,and get the hell out of there.....
